She doesn’t look like she’s had any surgery. I think she’s very naturally beautiful

Hmmm, she is 50. Look at her taut jawline and neck. Has her face descended like most of us into jowls and eyes start to hood? It is possible that she has managed to defy aging as all of the Spice Girls, what are the chances that all 5 of them have won the genetic lottery on aging?

My guess is she has had a deep plane facelift (as almost every celebrity who has 'aged well' into their 50s and beyond menopause). It is an invasive surgical procedure but gives very natural results when done skillfully. Her hair covers her ears, so it is easy to hide the scars if there are any. Again, scars will fade anyway and won't be noticeable over time.

She may also have other less invasive procedures like botox and fillers but they do not fix skin laxity as a result of aging.

I'm sure I wore several of those in the early 80s. Not in pink though!

I do love a style & beauty thread, it's all about the clothes.

(tbf I've been wondering how good the non-invasive laser stuff & retinoids are for improving skin tone - which is the most aging thing I notice in people).

It says she is behind an ideology that harms children, women, particularly autistic ones and society as a whole. Not my idea of a good person.

Lots of people haven’t thought it through that deeply. She sees it as her supporting her child to be their true self, won’t have read the Cass report, and that doesn’t make her not a nice person.

If they haven’t thought it through, looked at where it can lead and the harm it can cause, then they really are failing as parents. If they have thought it through and see this as support, I despair. I think a lot of celebs just think they have to align themselves with T, like it’s the same as LGB, but it’s not.

I had a fab white silk & cotton ruffled one, which I still miss ... I was a big Adam Ant fan at the time!!!

@EleanorMc67 you’ve linked some gorgeous blouses! I love the silk Me and Em one that’s in the sale but it’s sold out in my size. I’ll also link this one I bought recently but haven’t worn yet that might be similar to the others. https://www.meandem.com/cotton-embroidery-detail-straight-blouse-smoke-pink

Thanks! Happily, some of them do come in other colours as, although I love certain shades of pink, I only suit more coral shades as I'm reddish blonde.

I did see that lovely one you bought from Me + Em, but thought I'd posted enough options!!!

I've spotted a few variants of the blouses above in terracotta, coral, green or leopard print - so I might splurge on one of those & leave the pinks to you blondes & brunettes!!

I have a similar one from Baukjen - very comfy and flattering

cucumberpeach · 23/01/2026 21:00

@pictoosh All the money in the world wouldn't make me look that good 😂

Lararoft · 23/01/2026 22:21

I’m 50 next year & don’t have jowls / hooded eyes either but I am quite overweight which maybe helps?
I have a couple of trans friends plus friends who have trans children of late teens upwards.. I fully support them - it’s not ‘evil’ ffs.
I also like EB’s blouse but then I like RI stuff.

That is also a very, very flattering picture of her. In other pictures, she looks more or less her age. Still good, and maybe a few years younger than her age, but nothing dramatic. I am 42 and I would say she definitely looks older than me, and I haven't had any form of cosmetic intervention.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Some really lovely options. The cream one arrived yesterday and so disappointing. It was really thin and cheap looking for £50 and didn’t look as nice in cream.

Thank you OP, just quietly removing the cream blouse from my basket

Other tweakments will fix or delay laxity - microneedling, laser, emface etc. Not necess a facelift as yet.

Dye it pink.
