Did you all see the John Lewis perfume set? Early access for reward members. Only saw it as I was in the app for something else. John Lewis Signature Scent Box £65 worth £217. Pretty good for 9 perfumes.

@BakeOffRewatch Thanks for the alert. I really want to try the MC InfraRouge but that's literally all that interests me in the box which is a shame. I don't think I can be bothered to sell off everything else for one 5ml perfume.

Hi, I have finally got round to putting some of my new but will never ever use bits on eBay, but have decided to keep the Sweed blush in the orange shade as:

a) There are dozens of these on eBay already. (I am clearly not the only one who thought it was an awful colour!)

b) I am a sucker for a pretty container and this is very cute.

c) It will let me check out whether I like the actual feel of the product on my skin.

Re: The La Mer lip balm

I might have asked this on here already, (please forgive me if so), but do those of you who have tried it find it tingly? If so, I won’t be able to use mine as I am allergic to plumpers/tinglers and it will be joining the other stuff in eBay.

Is it the one from this years Liberty? As @BakeOffRewatch said the Volumiser is tingly but I think the other is just a basic balm.

Thanks @BakeOffRewatch and @OvaHere - it’s the one from this year’s Liberty. I know from bitter experience that I can’t use volumisers or plumpers, but if the mint flavour in the balm is too strong, I wouldn’t be able to use it either.

It would be an expensive mistake to make if I tried it and then couldn’t use it!

I think I did buy the one from the Liberty AC on Vinted but I haven't opened it yet. I'm sure someone will have tried it by now.

Probably for the best after your reaction the TM lipstick. Maybe try some of the Kbeauty lip balms. I think Tocobo has a nice looking one in a pot although I haven't tried it before.

So true @OvaHere - that’s what is worrying me! I had never had a reaction like that - it really shook me up and gave me pause, tbh.

Funnily enough I have a Tocobo lip pot ready to go. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if ‘lipbalm gate’ had happened earlier, but, as it’s here, I will give it a try.

It’s such pretty packaging- I hope it’s nice.

I see the CB fragrance stocking has finally sold out!

I think the JL fragrance edit looks good for the money, but I suspect I wouldn’t like most of the perfumes!
