I'm have a long day in the car as bringing dc back to university & its 3.5 hrs each way

Its cold & damp here so i'm wearing

Soft straight leg jeans with a deep turn up in a mid wash

Navy sweatshirt with navy applique flower on front

Navy stripey socks

Mainly blue but colourful Hoff trainers

Anthropologie oversized scarf in red / pink

When i'm out of the car i have a long oversized cream coat

Plum leather whistles cross body bag

Not the most exciting outfit but its warm & comfortable.

My goal this year is to build up my weekend (non office or going out)
clothes.

Tesco green joggers and a Edinburgh Woollen Mill red hoodie. I look like a ridiculous elf but they are my warmest items and WFH is cold. Walking dog will actually be warmer later than sitting.

Morning! I’m planning on joining these threads as one of my resolutions is to think through my outfits more and be more “put together.” Tricky as I’ve gained weight and not fitting into a lot of my size 8 clothes and having to pick from a much narrower size 10 wardrobe. I’m taking the advice of a very stylish colleague who says always choose two colours, so today I’ve gone red and burgundy.

Cable knit jumper dress in oatmeal. Brown lightweight scarf, fleecy lined black tights( couldn’t find brown). Brown knee high boots. Joules navy fur hooded coat. I go for warmth over style. Oh and thermal gloves.

I’m quite tall and slim, I like a slightly shorter jean / trousers so these, with jazzy socks and either Birkenstocks or trainers or doc boots are good.
i started with a pair of John Lewis black ones I bought massively reduced in the sales a couple of years ago - now have leather ones and 2 different ‘washes’ of blue jeans.

They suit my ‘look’ which is a bit kimono / Kos / japanese / street urchin
