I'm have a long day in the car as bringing dc back to university & its 3.5 hrs each way

Its cold & damp here so i'm wearing

Soft straight leg jeans with a deep turn up in a mid wash

Navy sweatshirt with navy applique flower on front

Navy stripey socks

Mainly blue but colourful Hoff trainers

Anthropologie oversized scarf in red / pink

When i'm out of the car i have a long oversized cream coat

Plum leather whistles cross body bag

Not the most exciting outfit but its warm & comfortable.

My goal this year is to build up my weekend (non office or going out)

Am WFH but am currently cold so may need to find another layer which I will need to take off before external calls. Didn't think this through properly. Jumpsuit is fab and really gives me a great shape but, despite being long sleeved, isn't really warm enough!

Bandeau bikini in green and black - ancient Figleaves model under a faded navy linen shirt with navy fitflops. I am on the last day of a tropical holiday, so back to cords and cashmere on Wednesday.

Skinny Zara jeans, Boden bright fair isle jumper, m&s thermal vest, alpaca socks in mustard and Birkenstock sheepskin clogs. Oh and my trusty Barbour waxed jacket and cosy lambswool scarf. Cold here.

So, grey check wool trousers, a grey long sleeved tshirt and a black wool sweater. It's a semi-casual workplace I am told which wasn't all that helpful tbh.

Plus pearl stud earrings and black patent leather loafers.

I'm doing my weekly stint at the food pantry today and it can be very cold so dull outfit here:

I look fairly neat and well out together, but a bit dull. Have what feels like excema appearing on my face yet again so am feeling quite uncomfortable and irritable.

Coat is a very utilitarian green padded full length waterproof coat from Passenger, and my handbag is a cream and tan osprey shoulder bag (the only handbag I own ).

all M&S, I’m going to have to diversify where I get clothes from. In my defence there is a simply food in walking distance and their click & collect/returns process is super convenient.
