Set an alarm for zara sale after being pretty abstemious last month

Saw a jacket in Zara I wanted but by the time the sale started at 6pm yesterday it was sold out, I was too slow at 18.04!

Oh lovely well done. I’ve spent a lot this year. I’ve spent about £300 in Lush my biggest sale vice (I like to get enough for 2 x baths a week for the year!)

Ive spent a bit in Next, mostly bras, got a Mac teddy set, Ralph Lauren pearl earrings and some 3/4 fleeces.

From M&S I got the fatface fleece I’d been eyeing up half price and some bras.

I haven’t bought much else in the way of clothes in the eternal hope that 2026 will be the year I lose that stubborn 7lb and keep it off!

I bought a Toteme Belted Bucket Bag in black leather from Liberty, a Hunza G swimsuit from Harvey Nichols, Sèzane Horace Hoops and some bits from Space NK. I think I’m done!

I can never be bothered with the Zara sale - so stressful!! I just bought a beautiful party dress for my big birthday - was £215 on Xmas eve, £100 today and in my size!!

Next order of silver trainers, satin trousers that I wanted but not at full price, and a summer dressing gown that I twitched on- there's a good chance of a refund on that.

And then followed up with H&M jeans and flannel pjs, and a pair of party sparkle jeans from m&s

I managed to get some jeans from Zara for DS, he’s at the tricky age where he’s too tall for most kids ranges but too small for menswear and Zara fits him well.

For me, I’ve ordered The Kooples jeans and velvet top from Selfridges (I’m eyeing up the matching velvet skirt too but rarely dress up these days and I’m hoping the top can be dressed down). From Net a Porter I’ve ordered two black tops (Toteme and Norma Kamali) and a pair of Grenson Nanettes from The Outnet.

I am expecting a chunk of it to be returned, but know I will be annoyed if I dither and things sell out.

I'm looking for some silver SL72s with navy stripes but can't see any reduced.

I haven’t even heard of some of these places & have no idea what Grenson Nanettes are! I’ve got a nice top half price from Girl in Mind (fancied some dresses but I have a wardrobe full!) I need bras as I was measured earlier this year & had been wearing the wrong size for years - treated myself to 2 fairly expensive ones at the time but need at least another one. DH said he will pay. Any recommendations? I’m 36F.
Looking forward to the Boots sale as they eventually slash the gifts by 70%. Popped into Card Factory & they have a brilliant sale. All individual Christmas cards are 5 for £1! Some started off at £2.49! I also got a box of 12 The Snowman cards half price & a lovely boxed Me to You Christmas mug for £3.49.

Im not big on post Christmas sales, I tend to shop black Friday sales in november instead.
Although I do have a small amount of Christmas cash so I might have a mooch around Primark....I've gotten some surprisingly nice jackets and jumpers there for peanuts before.

I've bought some pink gazelles and Liberty Print Sambas in Adidas Jnr sale-£80 for both so I'm pretty chuffed! 🎊

You need to be there at 1am for the highest stock, but if you keep checking over the next few days stock will come and go.

I’m after this lovely little crystal gingerbread house. It went down to £85. I didn’t order 😓 now sold out. I saw it in my local John Lewis so going to go there first thing and hope they still have it and that it’s price matched 🤞🏼

Loafers and chelsea boots from Clarks (after being told by MN I need to wear proper shoes to look more grown up 😅). A couple of nice jumpers and a shirt from M&S and a few pairs of trousers and jeans from Mango. Everything half price or better. Some will definitely end up going back but I'm very excited for my haul!

(Have avoided looking at any handbags cause budget is a bit tight and I really need new clothes, but happy for those of you who have found joy!)

OH and also a JACKET (after being scathing about blazers in another thread I have caved and ordered a slouchy beige one which may be acceptable but probably has a 90% chance of going back)

I got 2 snow fairy bits from lush. It was absolutely painful. Twice the stuff I wanted dropped out of my basket as I was trying to pay. Every year their website is utter crap. They need to sort it out. I must have spent a couple of hours on & off. I only bothered as it’s for my daughters birthday in feb
i did quite well in the M&S sale for some beauty bits actually. Earlier today I was eyeing up the Nuxe sets they had on offer but held strong.

I've ordered a pink cashmere jumper and some PJs in the Hush sale. Not super bargainous but I've wanted the sweater for months.

I got some gold Nike trainers that I've wanted, and hourglass palette that I've also wanted for ages and some lovely new bed linen and a bedspread from fenwicks.

I really wanted a dressing gown but couldn't find anything I really liked!

I'm not buying clothes as currently losing weight so putting money aside to treat myself to some good quality basics when I get to a healthy weight!
