Has anyone had a lower face and neck lift?

I have major issues in this area.
I want to do something as it’s really getting me down.

I gather threads are a no no
Botox and fillers will not sort out the level of saggy skin and jowls i have going on.

Deep plane facelift seems to be the gold standard but recovery is quite lengthy and I’m wondering if there is a less invasive surgical treatment that might give a decent result and if anyone has any experience of a surgical procedure they would recommend?

Im off for a face and neckift...deep plane in May at Nordsaesthetic in Lithuania in May. My neck is awful after losing 5 stone. I have 2 weeks off then Im back at work. 2 weeks is the maximum time allowed because we are so busy so Im going to go back looking a mess. Its all or nothing as far as Im concerned.

@Gettingbysomehow ooh I really hope it goes well for you. I am desperate to evade anyone else knowing for loads of reasons so something with less downtime is what I need even if I have to accept that would then have less impact on my wrinkles!

That would be amazing!
How did you choose your surgeon?

If you search for surgery in Style & Beauty you'll find previous threads, eg:

Following this poster's recovery made me realise that I'm not prepared to go though that:

Join the facebook group Face-lift & Neck-lift Support Group

It is international but there are UK-based members as well. Lots of before and after photos of various procedures. You can search for the UK posts and names of recommended UK surgeons. As with all social media, it is best to separately do a consultation with more than one surgeon once you have narrowed it to a few names.

Some posters use Trustpilot and also go onto the surgeon's website to watch videos and get a feel for them.
