Ideally short sleevs and maybe even a collar - like a relaxed shirt dress?

A dress, is this, or a top? OP doesn't say, nor does the thread title.

JackieNo · 08/06/2008 22:08

AHa - Xpost. A school run dress then.

Hmm - do a search for thread titles with school run dress in them. But lots of shirt dresses around - Fifties style
Or a bit more straight cut, and I think Cod has one from New Look.

(see - I told you she had one from New Look)

granarybeck · 08/06/2008 22:12

I would also like something similar but one that doesn't look horrendous on pear shapes like me!

Hmmm, not bad for a tenner.

It's not it tjough IYKWIM. Is this like the quest for the holy grail?

JackieNo · 08/06/2008 22:15

Granarybeck - maybe try a more fifties one, that flares out more from the waist. Might work.

I love this one but a bit more ££ and possibly too shiny to be daytimey.

DrNortherner · 08/06/2008 22:15

Yes, me pear shap too. Need fuller skirt.

OP posts:
JackieNo · 08/06/2008 22:16

Something like this one, granarybeck?

JackieNo · 08/06/2008 22:17

Ooh - pretty.

DrNortherner · 08/06/2008 22:17

Too formal Jackie. It's lovley but I'd wear that to work. Want something a bit more simple.

You need good pins for that. Not varicose veins like me.

JackieNo · 08/06/2008 22:19

Ah, the Original SRD Thread, I think I missed that one, or am confused, as there have been so many subsequent ones.

Debenhams have a fair few nice looking ones, especially the John Rocha and Betty Jackson ones.
