Show me what you wear with leggings

I live mostly in jeans but have just seen some lovely Christmassy leggings, but I honestly don't know what I'd wear with them and whether I'd just look silly.

I'm late forties, short, apple shaped, and would definitely need to cover my tummy and bum.

If you are a regular leggings wearer, could you tell me what you wear with them? Even better could you show me?

And if you think they'd look awful let me know!

I wear leggings for working from home with this style of top so I look smartish for meetings etc

In this weather I wear trousers on top of leggings.

Thanks! I'll definitely give this a try although I worry I'll look top heavy with a baggy top and my spindly legs 😂. I should probably try them in a shop, far more sensible than just buying some online!

Yeah I do wonder whether they'll be freezing right now.

I wear fatface:white stuff wrap jersey dresses and leggings with boots - skater style dresses look good if you are curvy and have boobs and I’m 5ft 4 OP - one thing I will say is I wear really good thick leggings with great stretch, best ones M&S have ( about £28) or proper sports ones - I get so much wear out of them and decent quality non see through ones make all the difference

Oversized jumpers and long boots with leggings is my go to.

I wear a long sleeved short dress with mine sometimes, it's a good way of wearing a dress that I was going to donate as too short.

This time of year it's long jumpers or jacket fleece with knee high boots.

Summer usually nice shirts and sandals.

I like cord tunics and have past season Hush ones in plum & green. I also like these Seasalt tunics

I usually wear them under knee length skirts or dresses.

Massive off the shoulder jumper.
Long shirt and waistcoat
Leather ones with tight fitting vest/ looser cami and oversized blazer
Sports ones with hoody

Today I’m wearing black leggings with sand Uggs, cream sports socks, cream teddy fleece. Very comfy

What do Christmasy leggings look like?? All I can picture is stripey elf ones…

Flared dresses long or short as apple shaped

I wore mine today with a maxi dress as they are good to layer with in cold weather.
Generally they are casual mooching about clothes for me so with oversized t shirt or sweatshirt and converse or chunky boots.
I do have some patterned ones that I wear with big slouchy knits.

Here are the christmassy leggings. In my defence I have a nasty cold and am probably a bit feverish 😂. Not sure I'll be buying them.
