The M&S fur coat

I do love it especially the length and price but i fear it will be everywhere. What I really want is a lighter cream/ beige version as I'm blonde these colours look great on me. Has anyone seen anything similar looking?

Great on a slimline body, unfortunately I am slim but naturally well-endowed on the top half and with the extra volume I appear tank like in a fake fur coat.

I too am 'too heavy' and anything which hangs from the shoulders and swings out makes me basically a darlek (darlec ?) shape as my boobs hold it all away from my body.

Obvs while twirling about in front of a mirror at home it looks good left hanging wide open and casual but i can't walk about like that out and about in a high wind i'll freeze!

Yes...I really fancied a fur coat for the winter & liked the look of this one.

However, because I don't feel my age & usually manage to overlook my weight gain, I came unstuck when I tried it on. Went to the mirror to admire myself only to see a large grizzly bear with a resting bitch face staring back at me.

Would be lovely on someone younger & slimmer though.

I like it, but as a size 14/16, I fear I would look like the Honey Monster in it.

It’s absolutely beautiful, but I have the same issue as others here - can’t wear it in the rain, and I get overheated wearing it when it’s not raining.

I don’t love it. It’s not long enough (looks awkward styled with a long dress as on the model) and it’s a funny shade of brown - would be better if darker chocolate or a lighter colour, like what you’re after, OP.

I also find fur coats can easily make me look two sizes bigger than I am. Need to be very well cut to flatter.

The look & feel of the fake fur is really important to me though. I like it to be thick & silky & realistic! I'd go & fondle a few in the shops before purchasing, OP ...!

I have a fab H&M one in leopard print that I bought from eBay a few years ago. Like this Topshop one, the cut is really oversized - even though I'm a 16 I bought a small & it's perfect.
