I keep seeing this advertised and I’m so intrigued.

Has anyone tried it? Do you love it or hate it?

Where is the best place to get a sample and what is the best dupe?

I know nothing about perfumes and up until last year I didn’t own any.

I use noted aroma dupe and get compliments often

Puppylucky · 26/10/2025 14:00

I loved it when I first smelt it and wore the Perfume Parlour dupe ( which is excellent) a lot but eventually ended up finding it a bit cloying - it's also absolutely everywhere as it's so popular.

Highlighta · 26/10/2025 14:23

There are so many dupes for this, including from Zara.

But, you will not smell original as this is just everywhere at the moment.

And it is very strong. So if you do get some, less is more.

Janeeyrre · 26/10/2025 14:32

I have some and I find it really odd because I cant really smell it, its the original and I have a really sensitive sense of smell.

I spray generously on myself and nothing!

I've heard that some people can't smell it.

I have a sample in a discovery set and I do like it, but not enough to buy a full bottle.

Zara Red Temptation is a decent dupe.

Daphnedot · 26/10/2025 15:39

The zara one is amazing

Aussiegold · 26/10/2025 15:52

I've got the M&S dupe and it's lovely, long lasting as well.

Wheredotheygoohno · 26/10/2025 16:05

Thank you.

Can anyone describe the scent? I’ve never knowingly smelt it but keep seeing it advertised and reading about it.

Some say it’s lovely others saying it smells like a pharmacy. I’m intrigued.

What's this called please? I've googled and it's saying there is no specific m&s dupe for BR. ( there are m&s perfumes which are dupes for others, which google does name)

Aussiegold · 26/10/2025 17:18

@laiste it's a limited edition called Winter Nights, 100ml for a tenner, thinking of buying some as christmas presents.

I don't think it's in every store and I am hearing that it is selling out quick.

igotbills · 26/10/2025 17:51

I accidentally bought a dupe of the candle at tkmaxx not knowing what it was. The scent was gorgeous and I went online to order more and found it's the baccarat dupe. It's like a sugary, warm and woody scent

deeahgwitch · 26/10/2025 18:06

I’ve smelled it and wonder what all the fuss is about. Definitely not for me.

Laiste · 26/10/2025 18:15

@@Aussiegoldi've ordered one 😊🤞

pizzicato · 26/10/2025 19:04

Look it up on Fragrantica to see the notes

MorrisZapp · 26/10/2025 19:17

Is this the one that not everyone can smell? My brother wore it to work and a woman three desks away said 'you smell AMAZING', yet when I sniffed it I got nothing.

I think it smells a bit like burnt hair…sorry!

Mumstheword1983 · 26/10/2025 19:22

The Zara dupe must be good as whenever I wear it people comment asking if I'm wearing BR!

Mumof2studentnurse · 26/10/2025 19:30

A bit like slightly burnt caramel is what it smells like to me. It gives me a bit of a headache and makes me feel a little sick. I purchased it without testing it first - and for the price, I should have been wiser, but I had read lots of reviews so assumed it would be lovely. But it really isnt for me. I also found it to be a little masculine. But ive not heard many other people say that - some people say its very sweet...but there is something I find heavy and masculine about it. There are so many nicer perfumes out there at a fraction of the cost. x

Mumof2studentnurse · 26/10/2025 19:37

I should probably add, it smells really nice on some people. Everyones skin is different so learn from my mistake and test it on yourself before buying it ;)

CheeseWineFigs · 26/10/2025 19:37

Monte Carlo is the name of the dupe from Noted Aromas. You can get a 5ml sample for a fiver

It smells sweet, woody, warm and spicey

Highlighta · 26/10/2025 19:37

I am not sure, as I find it very strong. I can smell it in an aisle of a shop even if the person wearing it has left the area. (see also Sauvage)

Maybe though, that is why people are overspraying it so much.

BBCK · 26/10/2025 19:40

Just bought this from Noted Aromas.Love it

deeahgwitch · 26/10/2025 19:54

Burnt caramel - a very good description @Mumof2studentnurse
As I said, it’s not for me. Can’t understand the hype.

Wheredotheygoohno · 26/10/2025 19:56

I’ve bought a sample of a dupe.

Really just want to know what all the fuss is about.

GoldenPecker · 26/10/2025 20:25

I bought the Noted Aromas dupe and loved the scent in the sample but found that once I got a bigger bottle I couldn’t smell it anymore even though other people could smell it on me. So that was weird. I then bought the Zara dupe and it’s so much better as it smells lovely and I can actually smell it on me. I get lots of compliments it.
