Their returns process is lengthy, nigh on impossible, and extremely costly!!

Do not risk buying from them online. You might not like or fit the (quite pricey) garments, but their attitude is "eff you customer" after they have delivered.

Having googled I've seen lots of discussion about this online - I just wish I'd done it before I ordered Hmm.

You have been warned!

Everything seems to made from polyester when I looked?

Jeans are 59 percent cotton, 30 percent polyester and 11 percent elastene.

Nothing like the horrible polyester dress I once got from Bloomchic.

It sounds like each pair is a bit different but for me I bought these:
Halara Flex™ High Waisted Pockets Baggy Wide Leg Washed Casual Jeans *1Bright Blue Denim/M(Tall)£26.84 GBP

Halara Flex™ High Waisted Stripe Wide Leg Flowy Washed Casual Jeans with Pockets *1Tide Blue Denim/M(Tall)

I got both in M and I am a 10 and 5ft 9 - they are both very tight around the waist and thigh. They are not "baggy" and the loose kicks in around the knee. They are slightly stretchy but not at all loose around the bum, so if you are a 12 I'd try a L if you are getting these styles.

The Trust Pilot reviews are poor so that put me off.

That's really strange as I have those jeans and they're definitely baggy. They're as on the photo, wide leg. Im a 12-14. The M are loose on me and a L would be too big. If you look at the sizing on the website it shows M as 12-14.

Snozzlemaid · 12/10/2025 14:23

I bought some summer trousers and they were awful. The material was so thin and they took weeks to arrive. So I tried to return them and as others have said it’s impossible to do so. But they did give me a voucher and I could keep the awful items. I’ll take them to a charity shop.
I was wary of ordering anything else but thought I’d try the jeans to use the voucher. I wasn’t expecting much, but I love them. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable, I live in them now.
I would think long and hard about ordering from them again but may well do so if I’m confident I won’t need to return them.

That's why I think each pair must be different. I may be a larger 10 but I'm not a 12-14, have skinny bum/legs etc. I'll try to post a photo later to show how tight they are on me when I get in.

CharlotteCChapel · 12/10/2025 17:11

I have the dusky rose waffle print in long, can't remember the size but its for a 16 and they fit although the first few times I wore them the were a bit tight around the waist. I also have a black pair of summer weight ones, also in long. I need to wear them with heels.

HermioneWeasley · 12/10/2025 17:25

Their jeans are so comfortable, Ive not found anything else that compares

Sonolanona · 12/10/2025 17:31

I'm a 10 in NEXT and Halara size S jeans fit me perfectly. I ordered one pair in M by mistake and they were too loose so I just sold them on Vinted. The size S ones are SO comfy.. they are not 'true' denim as thinner and stretchy but dear lord they are comfortable and look great.
Having said that I do think they are overpriced and will buy future ones from Vinted.

Tontostitis · 12/10/2025 17:33

I absolutely love everything I bought from Halara I wouldn't even attempt to return to an online company like that. If you think you might need to return it don't buy from them. If it didn't fit or wasn't good enough quality I'd give it to a charity shop. I've recently got a whole new gym set 3 tops and leggings from them, and I bought three dresses nearly two years ago that are just fantastic. Ridiculously cheap and that usually means not returnable you can't get quality and cheap and reliably returnable online.

Is it not just another rubbishy Chinese tat-merchant like Cider, Shein, Temu etc

Yep, but masquerading as a not-cheap shop! All the materials looked awful when I looked at them as I was intrigued. I'd wonder about their workers as well

Lovemycat2023 · 12/10/2025 17:41

I’ve ordered jeans from there as I saw a friend wearing a pair, checked in with her on sizing, and they do short length which is good for me.

I know the risks re: returns, and I’ll sell them on Vinted as required. Although there were the same warnings with Cup She and I had no issues with returns.

AprilinPortugal · 12/10/2025 17:47

Thanks for the heads up...I was so tempted to buy some jeans from them but I won't now!

BananaramaDefence · 12/10/2025 17:47

I absolutely love their stuff and when I had an issue they were great!

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 12/10/2025 17:51

I ordered some pull on straight legs, they were brilliant, so comfy and stretchy, size 16-18 shirt fitted me perfectly (that’s my normal size). Sadly they shrunk in the wash, although there may be down to tumble drying. I may give them another go and just be more careful laundering as they were so comfy. I generally struggle with jeans and trousers with the waist:hip ratio as I’m quite bloated round my belly, but the amount of stretch in the halara jeans meant I was comfy round my middle without them being too saggy elsewhere. Gutted they shrunk.

Honestly you're missing out. They look great, and they're so comfortable!

ChristmasSlacker · 12/10/2025 17:53

I’ve got two denim skirts from there. Incredibly stretchy and comfortable and I’ve had countless compliments. I’ll be continuing to buy from there. I love the look of the casual trousers with the buttons.

I requested to return and was offered the option to keep for free and have a gift voucher. Meant I could order another pair for 21p! Absolutely love my jeans, they are the comfiest things I own!

Same for me. I just wanted the next size up. I’ve kept the smaller ones to one day “slim” into 🤔

Oh really? They do look good, those wide-leg jeans. Thank you, maybe I will now! X

Authenticgreekyogurt · 12/10/2025 19:24

Looking on vinted, the filter puts a size 10 as medium. So do I go with that or go for small?

This is what I did. I have 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of trousers and a jumpsuit I got off Vinted as well. They’re all gorgeous. I also kept the stuff I didn’t want, they never sent any returns info. I ended up quite liking one of those items too!

Thank you for this. I'm an apple shape and I struggle to find clothes that fit, so the chances of having to send something back are quite high. I'm always tempted by their adverts but I definitely won't bother now!

Im a short arse apple and I LOVE my Halara jeans and trousers. Never had an issue with either and though they're not cheap, IMO they're worth every penny

pontivex · 12/10/2025 20:51

I was taken in by the ads and bought those work trousers. Laughably awful. Horrible cheap fabric. Chinese made. Button and clasp fell off as I was trying them on.
Return impossible so they went in the bin. Dreadful.

StrongLikeMamma · 12/10/2025 21:02

what would a size 18 be? Xxl?

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 12/10/2025 21:06

I love halara jeans, so comfy!
