My liberty just arrived, so pretty!

does anyone know of anywhere is doing a male fragrance AC?

Warning though - watching an unboxing of CB on youtube, no mention of the £20 gift card. Maybe she had the international one as there was no fragrance either?

I think the gift cards usually come in the form of an e-card via email straight after purchase. They probably don't give influencers that as it's meant as an enticement to purchase.

I assumed she had the international version too due to the lack of fragrance so I'm curious to see the difference. I'm wondering if she was even supposed to unbox it publicly at this point as that's been the only video I've seen posted. Usually there's an embargo until the brand put all the contents out and CB are still doing their drip reveal.

@OvaHereI like that idea of swapping an item out. I have Harrods and I believe I won’t like the lipstick so could get my Dd to swap it.

I have purchased the lipstick that’s in the Liberty calendar for £10 on Vinted which I prefer to the red lipstick in the Harrods, so I will swap it and try to sell the red one on. I also bought the Votary serum (the other thing I fancied from Liberty) for £15 so might pop that in the drawer that has the disappointing SPF sample. 🙂

I have toyed with the idea of buying two AC then combining the best of both in the nicest box then selling/gifting the other things all before Dec 1st arrives.

Main downside of that, other than cost/outlay is I couldn't join any unboxing threads on here as it would be fair to those doing it properly.

I've definitely seen a list of the contents of the fragrance CB AC already. Maybe it was on too early by mistake and removed. I prefer the non fragrance one - the fragrances were sweet/gourmand and not to my taste. The shades of the make up put me off.

Which lipstick is that please? I've been looking through all the boxes to see which one I might prefer instead and couldn't see a lipstick in the Liberty box - perhaps read too much to see properly anymore 🤣

It is the Trish Mcevoy one that is similar to Clinique’s Black Honey.

Definitely a no for Dermalogica when considering what you get for a similar value in multi brands (as usual). Their gift sets are much more worth it with better sizes!

I have spent far too much time researching all the advents!

Ah yes, I've found it. I'm not brave enough for such a dark shade. Nudes and light pink for me 🤣

Nothing wrong with that 😉 I'm now making a list of what I'd like from the other calendars, it's going to cost me a fortune 🤣

Moving from lurker to poster … I’m not really sure what I find so enticing about these threads as, although I could in theory afford a really fancy advent calendar, I can’t ever quite push the purchase button. But I live vicariously through your excitement.

Picked up that Bimble & Bolt do a running one from someone here which sounded fun, and I have been looking at some shorts from them anyway. Was on their site today and they have 15% off the calendar if you buy shorts / leggings. I thought this was a sign and was all prepared to purchase but they don’t have a single pair of shorts in my size 😡

So now I’m cutting off my nose to spite my face and not buying the advent calendar on principle 😂

Had H&B last year and will likely go for that again, though did think the French Pharmacy looked beautiful.

I watched the Liberty unboxing (think it was Planning with Crystal) and she described it as more of a balm with a much lighter colour. Black Honey is a lot like that in that it looks really dark but is a really lovely shade. I don’t like dark lipsticks

I did this last year, sort of. I had SNK & JL and I opened them both daily. I checked in advance and saw that a couple of the same days had DoDs for me, so I replaced with a couple of products I’d purchased from Vinted (La Mer lip gloss & Elemis face oil).
Then after Christmas I listed all the products that I didn’t want on Vinted, so in effect I only paid for one AC

Those are mostly very tiny sizes.

I liked the look of all the items in the Dermalogica AC, then I saw the sizes! 😳

Just watched the CB unboxing & Liberty on youtube.
I dont know how i feel about multiple minis in the same drawers sometimes. I understand you would think wow im getting 3 products in one day, but id much rather see one full size item. Yes you can cater for more people giving more options in one day, but just do 25 full size items. I dont want GWP left overs 😆
