Yeah, I suppose it's worth noting. I usually have mine on display in front of the TV stand, so the top corner is fully on display, it does look a bit like I've bought a bashed up box, not paid £250 for it.

I've just had an email to say that the OK beauty advent calendar has sold out for September. If anyone was eyeing it up, it'll be back in stock on 1st Oct for a final time.

Not interested in Space NK beauty this year. Selfridges looks book but bit too spendy for me by the time it's delivered to Ireland.

I think I have cancelled GB subscription after sending them a message, it really shouldn't be so difficult.

I've ordered the LF beauty box. I did have a £5 credit from recycle:me (bit peed off the new voucher codes can't be used towards it though). I just felt it didn't have very many DoD for me. I really really didn't want a lot of make up. And the price swung it.

With JML, yes it was £50 or £55 but didn't it originally retail for higher than that? Or have I misremembered?

I wouldn’t have bothered if it was a cheaper AC, but I am a bit of a saddo and was looking forward to my first Harrods AC box. Although I must admit, I thought the green one last year was nicer.
I’ve emailed them asking for an exchange. If they come back offering a discount instead I’ll just take the hit and keep that one, and gift the perfect box to DSis.
The duplicate was the La Mer cream, which is one of the products I bought the AC for! I was half hoping that it was in place of the lipstick, but I’m certainly not complaining!

I still haven't bought Glossybox. Holding strong for now. 😁

I did go looking on eBay and Vinted for last years empty GB and the empty Selfridges that is the same chest storage design. People want £30 + for them so if I'm going to get one I may as well buy the new AC.

So the SpaceNk mystery product is the REFY brow sculpt in clear 😊 I like a brow product. Now I've received my harrods calendar, I'm on the look out for another 😈🤣

Whilst browsing eBay for empty boxes I spotted someone selling the new Selfridges AC for over £400.

I wonder if people are buying to sell the to the US market at inflated prices seeing as a lot of stores are not shipping them this year?

Well I changed my mind and bought Glossybox. Just for info, the 10OFF discount doesn’t work if you’re a subscriber so paying just £75.

For me that's disappointing. I know I'm being a Debbie downer but why all the drama for a £20 clear brow product. Meh.

I wasn’t in the queue, way too late . I think because it was a store in the mall that doesn’t open until 10 am I had thought I would get their by 9.30 🙄 so more my daftness really . New to the game but thanks to this thread ready for next year 😂 at the end of the day it’s perfume , so no drama . I’ve already gone in deep with LK for my mum and hanging out for Liberty for myself , so not so bad . Just got to spread the word next year early doors on sept 1st if not pre ordered . But loving this thread ❤️

Did anyone here queue for Harrods today? If so, what a trooper. Looked manic.
My evening routine for the foreseeable is to watch advent unboxings even though ive seen the same unboxing just by different people🤣 I know people complain that its far to early for xmas stuff/advent but i just love the build up and research of it all🎅🎅

It's not the REFY product in particular, but I do use a clear brow styler (I'm not particular about the brand so it's whatever I can get on offer), so for me it is a product I would use. I've not yet decided about spacenk, I keep thinking I'll just get the m&s one, but then I really want another premium one 🤣

The key thing with Harrods seems to be not to believe anything they say because they always do the opposite.

I wonder if people have fared better at the H Beauty stores? I think it was a lot easier at those last year.

I missed out on the Harrods perfume advent but I’ve consoled myself by signing up to the Liberty beauty drop and ordering their Scent with Love kit instead. It had good reviews so hopefully I’ll like it and I’m gifting it to myself for my October birthday! I’ve gone for the Liberty BAC too. I’ve had that for my Christmas present for the last few years but I don’t start opening it until around 28th December, once it’s all calmed down a bit and I’ve got some time for myself. Trying to avoid any more temptation now!!

I'm with you @Hicupping - I also like a clear brow product but it's hardly exciting enough to make it a surprise mystery item.

@BlueLimes I'm on the Latest in Beauty mailing list and I haven't had anything from them yet about a calendar. I'll share if something turns up.

I saw on social media that people were queuing for 5 HOURS to get the Harrods fragrance calendar. That’s absolutely insane. Don’t get me wrong, I love an advent calendar as much as the next person, but I can’t believe that any sane person would queue 5 hours for a box of perfumes! Harrods perfumes are fun to try, but IMO, there are nicer ones out there.
