@MrsBnow12 Thanks for the heads up on Tatcha. What a palaver Wowcher is though . So you have to effectively buy a Tatcha voucher and then redeem it. Keeping everything crossed it actually arrives now . It will make a great gift for my DD who is a massive Tatcha fan

Not much makeup dupes left in my local Aldi but I did get the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray dupe and the Fenty Skin Tint dupe, both are lovely.

They had the olaplex dupes but I've recently bought K18 dupe from boots so don't need anything like that atm.

Also had the elemis dupes but I'm vegetarian and can't bring myself to use it no matter how good it is.

How often do they get them in? Elemis dupes were on the shelves with all their regular toiletries but the rest were opposite in the centre aisle.

Oh amazing thank you! That's cheaper than just buying the Vinoperfect. I found it good last summer for getting rid of the marks from spots that I get from suncream.

Clicked to buy without even reading what else was included so hopefully that will be a nice surprise!

@Noshadelamp - it’s hard to say - Aldi may briefly stock a particular set of dupes, and then I have seen these repeated maybe six months later. But sometimes I have never seen them again, (looking at, and for you, DE dupes!)

However, sometimes items don’t arrive in my local store until weeks after I have given up hope, (wrongly believing they were sold out, when really they have just arrived much later than advertised 😹)

It’s all part of the excitement that is the SpecialBuys aisle! (And yes, sometimes for added drama, some of these desirable items will be shoved next to the other toiletries in the side aisle 🙀

@BlueLimes The site is a nightmare and it reminded me why I last ordered from it over 5 years ago.

@MrsBnow12 I got one too. I wasn't going to but by this afternoon it got the better of me. I really love the Camellia cleansing oil and the face wash.

@ChangingWeight is that the new Oxford Street one? Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near. It looked good and I did see they were giving out nice bags of freebies.

I think the one in Birmingham is due to open today, a friend went to the Oxford Street one and said it was chaos the queue started the night before and they queued from 6am and were around 250 in the queue.

@MrsBnow12 I know I'm a bit of a beauty addict but I would have no patience with that.

Did they all get a goodie bag? I don't live near Birmingham or London. I always want one of the goodie bags but don't want to queue 🤣

@JoRaRaRaOnly the first 500 got a goodie bag with a £100 spend, think a lot of the goodie bags on TikTok etc were from influencers who got theirs free the day before.

Generally the space nk store offering doesn’t match their online deals / I’ve wondered about this - we had ours move location oooh last year and there’s not a lot of incentive to go in, because they run few events and even fewer in store promos…

I just came on here to flag up the LiB latest box.
The one and only product I really want to try is the Shiseido combination. I really hope it's not as magic as the online reviews are suggesting because I certainly can't afford the serum at £250. I placed my order and we'll see.
The other stuff is the usual rubbish LiB have become experts at: trending nonsense. I don't mind a solid plain affordable item here and there, the type you can pick up in a supermarket. But all this ridiculous tiktok this and that and glass skin idiotic terminology and just general fluff aimed at teenagers really puts me off LiB.
I'll try and sell these on Vinted to cover the cost of the Shiseido experiment.

I was also willing to give the Symbiosis eye cream a try because eye creams are one if my weaknesses. Never heard of the brand and google came up with a link from reddit. If anywhere near true, it explains a lot. Along the lines of Avant, apparently. Avant has always been a complete mystery to me: super expensive for what appears to be nothing, and always popping up in various beauty edits, no genuine reviews anywhere as far as I could tell.

Went to one n East Mids when first opened …. Some lovely brands of course but there was a 15+ queue outside with about 6 people in there. Probably just me but I was a tad irritated at being made to wait like a mug

Also, DD really wants some Rare Beauty lip products but is like her to be able to them on properly so enquired about making an instore appointment. £45!!!!!! That’s redeemable on the day but WTF!!!! Tried to sell it to me as “we can show her how to apply all the products blah de blah”. No ta, she literally wants to be able to choose a few lippies

So I may go in occasionally to look at colours etc but think I’ll stick to the website. Offers are often better too

Ahhh thanks everyone. Yes, Space NK are offering goodie bags for the first 500 customers who visit their new stores and buy something, plus a more luxury one for those who spend over a certain value. They’ve opened a few stores recently.

I was tempted to go to Oxford Street, until I saw that people were camping outside the evening before the store opening! People seem to have stayed at the shopping centre overnight to queue overnight for the Birmingham one too😦

They are also opening a store in a smaller shopping centre near me, my niece wants to go. But not sure it’s worth it if it requires queuing for hours!

@Branster I think I have a double sachet of that Shiseido stuff. I probably should dig it out and try it. Not that a single sachet will tell me much and even if it did £250 is way too much as serums rarely tend to be above 30ml bottles so they don't last long.

Symbiosis is definitely Avant. Same packaging, different font. Made for beauty boxes with a vastly inflated price. The products aren't necessarily bad but not really what they claim to be.

Does anyone know what the contents of fenwicks a/c are yet? I can’t see when googling
