ASOS have launched their Gift of edits, I quite like the skincare one.
I am sure @OvaHerehas recommended the Banila Cleansing balm before and sent me one to try.

@MrsBnow12 yes I'd say they are my favourite cleansing balms other than the Tatcha one which is my top favourite, but too expensive and small for every day use. The big jars of Banila last a good while. TKMaxx has them quite often.

I have a large Banila to use once my Tatcha is finished, and bought Space NK advent as also love the TIMY one.
Cleansers are one of my downfalls 😬

Me too. I daren't add them all up. Luckily it's probably my most used up product.

Speaking of cleansers, I do not like the Sunday Riley Aquamarine Melt cleansing gel balm. At first it was just clear oil coming straight out, so awkward to dispense and shut the lid which is quite stiff. I wonder why they made it an upside down one. Then the blue gel started coming out and I realised I’d just been using oil. It doesn’t say to shake, but I started shaking it and still get blue gel sometimes and clear oil other times. The blue gel is actually a good cleanser though. Just a total over priced faff. Medik8 oil cleanser and radiance cleanser and Dermalogica foaming cleanser still my favs so far.

@BakeOffRewatch I had a similar experience with the Sunday Riley cleanser, luckily it was only a mini so ended up throwing it away in the end as never knew what would come out each day.
Another one I didn’t like and wouldn’t repurchase is the Skin Rocks balm, it just didn’t work as well as the TIMY, Tatcha ones and was a pain to remove
My other favourite is the Kate Somerville Goat Milk one.
I also go through a few cleansers as double cleanse every evening and do a light cleanse in the mornings.

Mine's been open maybe a couple of months, 3 at the most (full size) and it's separated as you describe. I usually love most things buy Sunday Riley but this is a dud. When fresh it's not a bad cleanser although I don't love the scent but to behave like this when it's not been open long isn't great.

It's one of a few products I just don't like and am going to allow myself just to bin.

My Sunday Riley Aquamarine Melt Gel Cleanser isn’t old at all though. Got it in the well travelled edit last month https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/the-well-travelled-kit-000847678.html . Also surprised because every other SR product I’ve tried has been fantastic. Not that many to be fair, CEO serum, Auto correct eye cream and Good Genes acid.

@OvaHere was it separated when you first opened it? I had no idea it was meant to be a blue gel. Maybe I should just bin too. I have quite a few cleansers at the moment. Have the Kat Burki gel cleanser, a full size Dermalogica which I think was from Mother’s Day edit, wild source cleansing balm, an oil one from Medik8. I still haven’t bought anything festive or edit though so could be out of cleansers in 2 months.

@BakeOffRewatch No it was fine when I first opened it. I got it from Sephora (or one of the others) not long after it launched as a new product so the batch won't have been very old.

I usually have a few cleansers on the go at any one time so I'm not using the same one all the time. I think I'd not used it for a couple of weeks, went back to it and it now pumps as you describe - oily and separated.

The KS Goats milk cleanser is lovely. That's a fave one especially in winter.

Yes - I also didn’t like this so didn’t cut the end of like I normally do.

The bag is amazing, I can fit all sorts inside it and there are little pockets and pouches to store mini lippy, tweezers, brushes, etc.

I love the bag. I keep hoping they’ll reduce the previous one but am still waiting!

Has anyone bought from Beauty and the Boutique? She had a video last week which featured her new mascara and I really want to try it, but the price is high for a total unknown!!

The bag is gorgeous. I was talking about it with my other half and he is going to treat me to the set. I'm so chuffed.

Spent the evening watching these videos about Lisa Eldridge Treatment Cleanser and Skin Enhancing Mist. She said she did the testing with the cleanser left on the skin for two minutes to get the benefits, and suggested brushing your teeth once you’ve massaged balm cleanser in. I didn’t know that! Just been massaging and washing away. I love her skin and make up, wish I had the skills for it. Love the collar on her dress too, what’s that kind of collar called? FYI the videos are 2 years old

Would you mind sharing what you received? I was tempted but didn’t go for it in the end!
