That Lancome set is a great buy!

Just been reading about the sunscreen issues in Australia. I’ve bought various beauty boxes etc which had one of the affected brands, the Ultra Violette sun creams in them, including a specific product that has now been recalled as it was found to be SPF4 not SPF50 ☹️. This is the Lean screen SPF50 matte cream. Can’t remember what I got it in - but most likely a Cult Beauty beauty box of some sort, so I thought I’d post here so others are also aware of the issue.

It was shocking about UV. I'm fortunate I guess that I tried it once and struggled too much with watery eyes so if I did get any in BB's I will have sold them on. Not sure if I have had any since as it's one of those products that puts me off a box due to aforementioned eye issues.

I have put it on Vinted already 😆

Gosh I'd successfully swerved the Lancome set and after the pictures of it, I'm at risk of buying it. I'm meant to be online ordering a tumble drier after moving to the wettest outpost in the north.

I just got the last gwp in-store at my local SNK!

and I spent £100 on Trinny as well and got a gwp there too - a full size moisturiser.

What serums did you go for in the end?

I got the Medik8 Liquid Peptides (regular not the new one) and C-Tetra. Then a Kate Somerville cleanser and a Living Proof kit.

I can’t remember which C-Tetra I already have but the lowest level felt right for me!

@TragicMuse I just went to look at the GWP online and as I was looking it changed to sold out so you did really well to grab one.

It really is! I’m so chuffed! The Dr Barbara Sturm alone is making me very happy!

And I discovered that SNK will take recycling.

Frankly, if I don’t get a reward from Recycle me and I don’t use Boots I might as well take them to SNK! At least they’re being recycled!

And I can use recycle me for toothpaste tubes and sample sachets. For as long as they carry on doing it…

The bag itself is pretty (my daughter has already nicked it though).

Yay! Luckily my DD no longer lives here. Once upon a time it would have been nicked for sure.

Boots/Dove have some nice bath and body sets half price at the min. Not sure if they will be in store too. I was looking for the new Coconut Milk body bar (sold out) and found them.

I’ve also had dispatch confirmation for the Look Fantastic fragrance advent so that should be arriving early next week. That one will be put away without opening until December and in the meantime I will be on a serious mission to finish up perfume minis and samples to make some room. My bathroom cupboard is now officially full, I literally cannot fit another product in there 😆

I opened a new serum from the stash last night. Kate Somerville Super Cell. I didn't realise or had forgotten it has a wide metal roller ball to dispense it rather than a pump. I really don't like the application method and ended up squeezing too much out. It's very expensive stuff but I already feel like I will be glad to finish it and move on.

@TragicMuse Thats a fantastic GWP, so many products I have on my repurchase list! I never go for the GWP spends, I think I need to start paying more attention!

@Thelifeofawife @TragicMuse I do have the MO part of FOMO seeing the photo of the gwp now it's sold out. I couldn't justify a random £175 spend when I may buy the BAC next week.

There is that…I have my enabling husband to blame for encouraging me! Although he has NO idea what the spend was. And that’s the way it will stay!

Much of it will find its way into the Christmas stockings and that’s how I’m able to justify it!!

The edit coming soon from CB looks like it will contain make up - no details yet but based on the photo of the box I posted a few days ago. If it is make up it's bound to have at least one blush in there.
