What’s the 2025 bolero/pashmina/denim jacket/biker jacket?

What on earth do I wear when I need another layer?
My £££££ biker jacket looks dated, my denim jacket has long gone to the charity shop, cardigans look twee.
i have tons of beautiful cami maxi dresses I love to wear with cowboy boots but am really struggling with what’s current for a jacket/extra layer.
Help!!

I’m still wearing my denim jacket with most of my dresses! I also got one which is khaki green and sort of between a denim jacket and utility jacket which looks ok with some.

Cardigans don't look twee.

I'm still wearing my bikers, they are beautiful and I figure if I wear them with jeans/shoes etc that are more current they won't look too dated. Plus I know they suit me. They are my babies and I will never part with them.

Everything is more oversized now though. I have a few shackets, a couple in checked brushed cotton from Pull & Bear and one very oversized black denim one from H&M. Also a reversible browny bomber from Whistles (satin one side, teddy fur stuff the other) and a khaki quilted jacket from Gant. This seems to be covering most of my jacket needs at the moment.

Lots of stylish cardigans around. Brown/tan/olive green suede or faux suede cropped shackets around. River Island had some. I got almost identical one from Primark for £16...long gone now as all snapped up! Had lots of compliments ..worn over cream knit vest

I’m mostly wearing a faded black, slightly oversized denim jacket or a black broderie anglaise shirt worn open. I don’t mind a black cotton cardigan for work, but don’t feel it works very well for casual.

Where are your babies from? I'm looking for a beautiful soft leather jacket but a collarless one and fitted. The only one i have foubd is a Sosander navy blue one which is nearly £300 and more than I want to spend. A good faux leather one would be fine. I have a peachy beige biker style from Wallis and you can't tell the difference. I like variety which is why I dont really do investment dressing, although I have a few things that I have had for years and still look like new.
I am petite so biker jackets and shackets drown me. I wish I was about 5 ft 6...maybe in the next life.

All from All Saints, traditional biker style though not collarless. I have a few - black, tan and dark brown leather, plus black and tan in suede although the latter two are a bit big on me now, and a black one in a larger size so I can wear a jumper underneath. Some of them were picked up secondhand. The black leather one is the Cargo style which is slightly distressed and only looks better as it gets worn in. Funny enough I am exactly 5' 6"!

All Saints are a great brand. Yes biker jackets will look great on you but sadly not on a petite 5 footer!

These Uniqlo jersey jackets. I have khaki & tan.
I also have a M&S tan suedette jacket that sold out very quickly.

There's this one in a few colours as well from H&M.
It looks like a really stylish jacket that I've seen on quite a few Instagramers recently.

@Cantonet I am loving your suggestions...perfect for my budget and lifestyle. Do you post on any other fashion threads? Definitely like the H&M one too. My preferred brands are Uniqlo and H&M as they are great value for money.
