Ideas for tops to wear with these trousers!

Hello! I’ve bought these trousers and love them but not sure what to wear them with….any ideas?!

Seriously, why would you do that to yourself? They’re going to look … really quite silly, no matter what you put them with.

(I have no truck with boring, ubiquitous clothes, and love to see people dressing with individuality - but those are just wrong.)

TBH, I'd wear the trousers to the beach over swim wear. Otherwise a t-shirt or blouse in another colour. My only worry would be underwear showing on such light trousers, so do check in a mirror before heading out 😳

I think it needs to be the coordinating top as well.

It says they are fully lined, but I know what you mean. I would get the matching top too, or a fuchsia crop top

I'd just wear a plain strappy cami top or a white blouse with them. I have some patterned pants that I really struggle to find what to wear with them, so I literally just have one top I wear with those pants!

I think you need the matching top or a plain white or black vest top. These are very much for a “tropical holiday”.

actually I think I prefer without the matching top but the way they have been styled with the sandals and vest top. With the heels they look a bit odd.

Try them with a black or a vivid coloured top. Depending on what you like, a tunic style or a crop top might work, and maybe one of those Hundred Star light short kimonos for the evening.

Difficult. I think the matching top is the only thing that might work. Although the fact they look like they’ve got big shorts underneath would make me want to cover up that bit.

Interesting design! Matching top too much. Plain Black or white spaghetti vest top. The trousers are busy enough.

I can see it here, in shop the look, but when you click on the top it just brings up their blouse section..

I personally don’t like them, but I agree with others that a black or white vest would be better than the matching top anyway.

Ooh I really like them! I think, depending on whether you're happy to show your tummy, a crop top would be lovely, in a block colour, but nothing too bright or contrasting.

I would say that, given they are quite loose, a fitted top would work best to balance it out.

A big chunky black or navy jumper or baggy dark coloured linen shirt. With black fisherman sandals. Nothing feminine.

I would wear them with a long white/ecru fitted blazer that will cover the bum and crotch area. Nothing underneath the blazer. I quite like the sexy long blazer look with a long lace maxi skirt and I think these trousers could give a similar look.

Ive noticed a trend around my area of either white bottoms (usually shorts) and plain black top or the other way round. I think these would look great with a plain black tee and black sandals. Maybe with a thin metal chain.

The matching top is fun, if you can find it. And then the whole outfit would look good with some bright jewellery?

A black waistcoat and heels might be fun if you were going to a party and wanted to add some drama.
