Ideas for tops to wear with these trousers!

Hello! I’ve bought these trousers and love them but not sure what to wear them with….any ideas?!

Have a look at Jamie Mansfield, she often wears this style of trousers and pairs it with a range of tops

I think with the matching top it looks a bit too modern bridesmaid.

I feel like a nice cowl neck vest top would in something very opaque and drapey eg like a very fine wool would look amazing.

Could maybe get away with black or brown in the same sort of style. Sorry these are pricey but you get the idea!

Edit: also wouldn't wear them with shoes like those! Some lovely flat gold or tan sandals or white trainers.

A white shell too / strappy top or maybe a silky crop top in a bright solid colour

A pastel pink fitted t shirt would be nice too with it - maybe slightly cropped

I have two boys, one is 3 the other is 21 months. I love them both so so much but my youngest is proving difficult. He can be such a loving wee boy. He has been pretty quick with milestones, was walking at 9 months, saying words not long after and now can communicate verbally very well for his age. (Well I think so comparing to my first born). But his attitude and temperament is so difficult to deal with. He seems to be always angry, the tantrums are extreme, flinging himself on the floor, arching his back, screaming and occasionally hurting himself for any minor inconvenience. He has never slept through the night yet since he was born and the only way to settle him is to give him a bottle with milk. Sometimes If he finishes the bottle he will kick and scream for more, wakening everyone in the house until I get more. I love him so much but I am struggling to cope at the minute. Sleep deprived and also feel like everything I am doing is not enough for him. Any advice please?

But it sounds like he's going through the terrible twos a bit early. He's pushing all the boundaries because he's just realising you are separate to him. You need to have firm boundaries but be calm and consistent and this stage will pass. There's a lot to be said for ignoring them when they are having a tantrum (as long as they are safe) and allowing him to learn how to self regulate. It's a horrible stage and hard work so you have my sympathy but if you have clear and consistent boundaries for him that are calmly stated it'll pay dividends as he gets older.

I like the trousers but I think the matching top makes the outfit look too fussy.

I like the secondary photo of the model wearing them with a cream camisole.

Cream goes with everything so a plain basic tshirt in a bright colour would work and not detract attention from the 'interesting' trousers.

I’d wear a long grey vest top and a white or pale (pink, sky blue, metallic) loose knit sweater.

A simple vest top will do, any colour.
