If I'd put this outfit together with a bit more panache, I'd have been doing a great job of Looking Expensive on a restricted budget. As it is, I'm just pleased to have been 'presentable' with stuff that was to hand 😏

navy tu jumper - it’s obviously not natural fibres but it’s so easy to throw on.

I’ve got the joy of a smear later so I want to be comfortable.

The full shoe. They are actually the Brixton ones that you can fold back if you wish, but I never wear them like that and I would be concerned about the durability of doing that.

I tried the stiffer Jordaan's on and they are gorgeous but I went for comfort with the incredibly soft leather of the Brixton, plus the Jordaan were £800 and Flannels had the Brixton's on sale.

Jordaan will be more durable long term, but mine are the comfiest shoe I have ever owned.

I have the same M&S jersey trousers. I love them. So versatile.

And so comfortable! I have them in another style as well, I love a pull on jersey trouser.

@FurForksSake I've got those trousers too, in black and navy. Brilliant basics and easy to dress up or dress down.

Having spent the day in and out of dance kit after Zumba and ballet I'm now on the sofa in an oversized A-line t-shirt dress that I bought in Canada a couple of years ago which was 24 Canadian dollars if I remember rightly, together with a fur edged wrap because I'm feeling chilly but refuse to put the heating on yet!
