Home made summer dress - charity shop £4.99

M& S peg beige linen trousers rolled up a couple of times to shorten the leg length £5 new from Vinted.
Boden terracotta t shirt with gold spots from a village safari for £2 and tan mules £7 from Primark I bought for my next holiday to wear round the pool but they've turned into everyday sandals as so comfy.
A very economical outfit! Don't have many like this!
Absolutely love the Boden t shirt, ironically saw a t shirt dress in the same fabric in a charity shop recently but much too short my age sadly or I would have snapped it up.

Long, brown, ribbed cotton tube dress which is too big, but I couldn't be bothered to send them back. I got four for £60 on Roman. Cream cotton crochet jumper on top, £20, Nobody's Child. Ugly plastic sliders, £5, Asos.

I'm dedicating today to figuring how to use my new, mutlifunctional microwave/oven/grill thing! I've managed to roast a chicken but am less than delighted because it isn't crisp on the outside. Wiping my hands on the cotton tube dress 😂

Today I'm wearing an ankle-length bubble skirt in the colour they used to call 'drab' (and which, as kids, we called 'diarrhoea'). £10 from Amazon, and it's cotton 🤗 Topped with a heavy beige cotton cardigan from Nobody's Child, about £20, and bottomed by enormously clumpy Clark's fisherman's sandals in brown, £36, I do in fact look like a bag lady.

Whether anyone can tell it's intentional and in the current vernacular, I have no idea. No-one offered me a shilling for my supper, though ...

I've just had to look it up, so it's a light brown and drap originates from the French drap of undyed wool apparently!
