The ordinary’s arginine and matrixyl 10%
I’ve tried some of their other products in the past and they’ve been ok but not really anything to write home about.
This pairing, however, is simply amazing on my 57 year old menopausal skin. Lines are greatly reduced and my skin just looks plumper and smoother and brighter.
I was at a party last night, no make up, hormonal spots and a friend commented on how ‘good’ I looked.
i have also ordered the Inkey list’s exosomes.
i shall keeping going with these for sure!

ive made a note of this thanks op.

I’m using beauty of joseon sunscreen. No white cast.

Looking for something for dark circles next.

Britpopbaby · 07/06/2025 19:30

Ultra Violet 50 tinted sunscreen.

Youth to the People kale and other stuff cleaner. I got this in my Space NK birthday treat bag and love how thick it is and how little I need. I am considering buying the full size.

Quirkswork · 07/06/2025 19:37

By Terry Hyaluronic pressed facepowder. The Holy Grail of facepowders for my 52 year old skin.

Dove soap. Always pleased with that purchase. It's better than most expensive stuff and never drying.

One more I've thought of (I know that's cheating). Refy blur lip pencil. Really good. I like all their stuff but that in particular.

GellerYeller · 07/06/2025 19:52

@BigButtons please report back on the Inkey List, I’ve been tempted by that one!

GellerYeller · 07/06/2025 19:54

Aveda Botanical overnight serum.
Elemis pillow plumping mask.

I love this. I got it in an advent calendar in 2023 and it’s still going strong. You only need. a tiny bit.

I second the By Terry Hyaluronic face powder. It's the best powder for my mid 50s skin 😍

Zinc stick tinted sunblock - spf 50 and covers like a light concealer. I buy it on Amazon.
Sarah Chapman nighttime facial oil - expensive but has been amazing for my rosacea, used every other day so it lasts a bit longer!

rainbowsandraspberrygin · 07/06/2025 20:49

Thanks for sharing OP - is the ordinary serum a combo or do you need to buy separately?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2025 20:50

I've been loving Trilogy rosehip oil. I've just bought the one by the Ordinary which is a third of the price, to see how they compare.

I'm also very, very pleased with my Urban Decay green eyeliner.

Saxendi · 07/06/2025 20:52

Then I met you, living cleansing balm, really good.
Milk hydro grip gel tint, is lovely best of all the skin tints I’ve tried.

Biomic · 07/06/2025 20:54

Medik8 retinol night serum which really works, on me at least.
Supergoop SPF and primer.

Moier · 07/06/2025 21:27

The 7 in one LED face and neck massager.
Laura Gellar The Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation compact.
My gosh l absolutely love both .
With my 4 Stone weight loss.. friends and family have said how my skin has improved too.
I'm 66 and feel fabulous.
( Oh and the Michael Douglas New Hairdryer and Straightners). Celebrity hairdresser and Davina McCalls partner.

cherrycola66 · 07/06/2025 21:28

Elf halo glow 💯

efeslight · 07/06/2025 21:37

I am never without a tube of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, for lips, nails in particular. Not a new product but a classic

AnchorWHAT · 08/06/2025 10:23

only one new buy recently
Green peoples AGE DEFY+ RETINAL BOOSTER SERUM, smells heavenly and is making a difference to my skin.

I'd be interested in trying this. Can I ask what is your routine for this, I e., what do you do before or after applying them?

Interesting I have those two in my bathroom cabinet. I think I saw a recommendation on here. How do you use them? I've been forgetting about them and using my vitamin c serum.

It’s very simple! On a clean face I put the argeriline first round my eyes and NL folds, then a small drop of matrixyl all over, then a moisturiser then my SPF 50.
in the evening I add tret on some nights- use the matrixyl as a buffer.
when I get the exosomes I will add it after the matrixyl and before the moisturiser 🙂

They are separate- got the argireline on eBay- 2 bottles for less then a tenner!
I think that the ‘buffet’ is supposed to be a combo of them plus other stuff. I had used that years ago but never noticed the difference I do now.
i am hung over this morning and should look shite- I don’t!

I am a 🐑. Just bought both the Ordinary products! Looking forward to the transformation. It’s been one of those moments where my iPhone said ‘face not recognised, use passcode’ Biscuit
