The ordinary’s arginine and matrixyl 10%
I’ve tried some of their other products in the past and they’ve been ok but not really anything to write home about.
This pairing, however, is simply amazing on my 57 year old menopausal skin. Lines are greatly reduced and my skin just looks plumper and smoother and brighter.
I was at a party last night, no make up, hormonal spots and a friend commented on how ‘good’ I looked.
i have also ordered the Inkey list’s exosomes.
i shall keeping going with these for sure!

I am a 🐑. Just bought both the Ordinary products! Looking forward to the transformation. It’s been one of those moments where my iPhone said ‘face not recognised, use passcode’ Biscuit

Hope you get on with them!
The face is thing is a big rubbish sometime for sure!

I like Inkey List stuff normally but the exosomes didn’t make any difference for me.

Are people using the pressed or loose By Terry powder?

I've been using pressed just because it's easier and more portable. I love it.

Thank you, ordered it and have to say I’m impressed - sorted out my shiny sweaty face a treat!

The 7 in one LED face and neck massager.
Laura Gellar The Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Foundation compact.
My gosh l absolutely love both .
With my 4 Stone weight loss.. friends and family have said how my skin has improved too.
I'm 66 and feel fabulous.
( Oh and the Michael Douglas New Hairdryer and Straightners). Celebrity hairdresser and Davina McCalls partner.

Oh I want the face massager but do i need to buy their serum to go with it do you think?

Can someone tell me what makes the By Terry powder so great please - I am a greasy sweaty mess a lot of the time with 53 year old skin so I’m always looking for the holy grail of powder

heartmatters · 10/08/2025 07:50

I am liking the Olay Super Serum at the moment. I can’t be bothered with lots of layers in skincare so this does it all in one. Cheaper than the Clarins all in one and I do see a bit of a difference in my skin.

It's white so you don't need to worry about colour matching, but it's so finely milled that it disappears completely on your skin and is invisible. And yet it blurs your pores somehow and stops shine. But not so much that it drys your skin or cakes. In fact you can use it under your eyes! I don't know how the inventor did it but she did it well. She invented Touche Elcat for YSL too so she knows her stuff.

I sometimes wonder whether the led masks work at all and whether I will actually use one. Has anyone got one?

searchforthesun · 16/08/2025 21:31

Do you wear foundation under the By Terry powder or does it make a difference on its own?

MistressThere · 16/08/2025 21:42

47 Skin for me! And….giving up 95% of the alcohol I usually drink! 47 Skin was amazing for my skin even with the booze haha.

declutteringmymind · 16/08/2025 21:47

LRP cicaplast. Use it over any serum (but not actives) and I wake up so plumpy.

charlieandthechocolatfactory · 16/08/2025 21:57

Boots Azelaic Acid - smoothed out my skin and even the tone in a few days

mayonnaise and olive oil in my hair as a mask

smells awful but , transforms my hair better than any product.

Yes I have one.

it did really help my skin when you stick to it daily. The blue and red light especially.

but I don’t have the patience some days

charlieandthechocolatfactory · 16/08/2025 21:58

Phillips Lumea is also good for hair removal and improving skin texture

TeaAndCakeMakeThingsBetter · 17/08/2025 09:45

Supergoop! Sheerscreen suncream is the only suncream I’ve ever been able to use on my face without triggering rosacea or general irritation. Finally I’ve found something I can use every day. It’s also really good as a primer under my second recommendation which is Armani luminous silk foundation. Suggested by my teen daughter and I’ll never go back!

Sunday Riley Lactic Acid. I got a sample in the Liberty box and it has completely sorted out my perimenopause skin. Not harsh and all the small bumps have gone. My skin looks the best it has in years, absolutely love it.

Loving this thread

Belmondo · 28/10/2025 09:19

Any updates on the HG products on this thread please? I was searching for reviews of the Inkey List Exosomes - is anyone using those, and are people still liking The Ordinary combo mentioned above? I do like their squalane. Also tempted by the By Terry pressed powder!...

WrinklesShminkles · 28/10/2025 13:21

I've just bought Shiseido Medicated Hand Cream for £6.50 from a Japanese supermarket in Leeds and it's brilliant - actually smoothes out the hard skin around my nails and is neither greasy nor silicone-y. Comes in a very practical small red tub with a flip lid. I might go back for some more...

MorrisZapp · 28/10/2025 13:27

Korres sleeping facial, it's the most gorgeous thing I've ever put on my skin. Can get small tubes for a couple of quid on Vinted.

RainySundayAfternoon · 28/10/2025 15:02

Just to add that the By Terry powder is currently on sale on ASOS with an extra 10% off today 😊

Belmondo · 28/10/2025 15:51

@WrinklesShminkles,you had me at Japanese supermarket!!

@MorrisZapp I am a fan of Korres body care generally but not used much of their facials skincare, will take a look...
