if you help, you truly are a style goddess.

I am ok in many dresses, but none truly yell FABULOUS...well, not to me anyhow.

I am an odd shape (well, I think I am anyhow), and never fit into one 'shape'.....ever!

I am too short to be called 'lean and leggy', yet too tall to be classed as 'petit'.

I have boobs, (am a 32D), no waist, and 'boy hips'......

can;t wear heels anymore either since my car accidents, so need to look good in flats too!

oh, and I like prints, but they seem not to like me .

flame can fill ya in with anything else, as she laughs often at my dress choices..... (but I love her really).

so......pretty please....

budget is under £40 if at all possible.

ok....flame just steered me to the gok thread, and I am a racy ruler....

don;t know if that makes me sound good or not!!!!

am letting flame update

Gingerish colouring (freckles and pale skin) - reds look good.

Her description is fairly accurate. I think it might be skirt length that we often go wrong with - too close to knee (above or below) do weird leggy things.

Doesn't like too short because of very white legs and helpful Psychodad calling her "Whitey from Blighty"

ok, am not cod, but I bought this yesterday and it's lovely, looks fab with boobs, skims over non existent waist

(sorry, over budget, which I know is a bit rubbish

Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:21

thankyou

not my type of dress tho, sorry,.......am better in sleeveless TBH. (altho arms are also white)

flame now muttering that she does not laugh at my dress choices, more that she laughs at what they look like on me....

not sure that's better tho!!

OP posts:
Squack · 21/05/2008 16:23

whispers it's sorky!

what's a gok thread?

Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:26

erm......flame can link ya, no idea how

(she will link under my name tho, I am not split personality...seriously)

OP posts:
Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:27

Do you have good arms? I'm thinking I'm built like you and halters always look great if you're slim/slight with good arms.

There are a few tea-dresses I've been hankering after that fall just below the knee.

Spotty print looks good too when you're little.

Right I'm off to search for you, any colours to steer clear of? I have your colouring too and must avoid all but bright reds. Think bree van der camp, she often wears very bright colored dresses as a block with very pale skin and looks fab.

Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:30

Sounds good (tis Flame)

OP posts:
Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:31

I want her to get this not sure if it is because of the dress or the film though!!!

OP posts:
Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:34

Tis Flame again.

Erm, grey and bright greens are no no... wrong shades of orange.

Um.

I tend to just think of her in red She has oodles of red.

On that same website, this one looks like it would be flattering

Squack · 21/05/2008 16:40

how about this

hot or cold with that suggestion?

Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:43

gar....that link (squack's) says 'item not found'..

elizabeth, thanks, but no....sorry.

((I hate it when I have to say I don't really like something.....it feels like I am critisising your taste, when I am not, I just know that it is either the wrong colour or wrong 'hang'....)

OP posts:
Squack · 21/05/2008 16:44

ooh I love this maybe wrong colour though.

Twinkie1 · 21/05/2008 16:46

What about one of these??

www.joulesclothing.com/product/Womens%5FDresses/E_JOJO.htm

Squack · 21/05/2008 16:47

oh erm click the link again and type in 'spot dress' it's the one that says it comes with a free belt .

I quite like that one, rather chic & cheap.

Psychomum5 · 21/05/2008 16:47

I like that!!

white legs tho, short dress.....

will it look ok???

((don;t answer that))

OP posts:
Squack · 21/05/2008 16:48

Ooh I think the JoJO one would suit her (again, Flame here)

Twinkie1 · 21/05/2008 16:51

Go and get some St Tropez Everyday Airbrush and you will have lovely brown evenly tanned legs in a matter of hours!

Seriously considering getting that Joules dress myself as think it is a bargain!

ElizabethBeresford · 21/05/2008 16:53

Don't worry! I just had a quick look at the other dresses on that site! I probably wouldn't have chosen it myself, but it looks the sort of dress that disguises things, rather than being the DRESS OF YOUR LIFE!

I think a couple of days of the dove body lotion cum fake tan thingy is order.

I might get me that freemans one.
