Help please oh wise ones of MN
I am after a long swishy maxi skirt to wear over the summer with a simple white T and either nude ballet flats or nude espadrilles (I acknowledge not the most trend setting but suits my aesthetic!).
I am tall (5 ft 10) and looking for a true ling maxi- size 12/14.
ideally:
Cotton
Pockets
Lined
I love pinks and works well with nude and a raffia bag
Bonus points if lined
Budget of up to £150
and nothing from China please!

i attach the closest thing I have found but this is off a scam website with terrible reviews.

thank you

I actually stopped a lady in a shop last year to ask her where her lovely swishy, maxi skirt was from. It was from White Stuff (unfortunately it had gone in the ale and sold out in my size).
It's worth looking on Vinted. You might find the perfect skirt at a bargain price!

What’s wrong with buying used clothing from Chinese dissidents who have kindly donated their organs to rich westerners, while still alive, and thus no longer need their stylish clothing? Hopefully you aren’t racist.

I love the Wrap skirts mentioned upthread - but reviews say they come up very long and I’m 5’3. Might be ideal for you OP

Anyone who likes the Color Story skirts - google “Poplin skirt” - there are loads of this style around at the moment. Free People definitely has some in many colours, but cheaper places also. M&S and H&M have them too I think.

By all means but bear in mind that poplin is a different weave to twill which will hang very differently. Twill tends to have more weight and drape, whereas poplin is much lighter weight.

True - poplin will give a less formal look. But the same no tiers, ballerina length effect

I do have a poplin skirt, but it does need ironing/ steaming a lot more regularly than other materials
