Which jacket?

I’m going to an event at my son’s university in the US in September. I will wear either a pale pink or navy pair of wide trousers and a slim cream top underneath one of these jackets. My shoes are a nude colour from LK Bennett ( pointy toe sling back). I’m in my 50’s size 6 petite.

If you're petite, Jacket 2 will look better with wide leg trousers than Jacket 1, so I think you've chosen well, OP.

two. The big pockets, collar and multiple dark buttons on one are going to overwhelm your frame.

I don't like the placement of the buttons on 2.

Me + Em one is more every day wearable and cool but still super smart.

One has a more flattering shape.

I really love 2 in the pink.

I agree @Petuniaspetal , it’s sold out in every size so obviously it was very popular. I love the flower on it .

Now that I've realised you are petite, perhaps the 2nd one would be better. It's the gilt buttons that put me off - reminds me of a 1980s/90s Tory Party conference. I'd have to cut them off or change them.

Jacket 1 looks stylish. Jacket 2 is more classic.
Depending on your figure, if you are slim enough, I would go with No. 1.

I like #1. It has waist shaping which looks great on petite frames. #2 just says fake Chanel to me.
