...in my marionette lines and I'm chuffed with the results already, despite the bit of swelling/bruising.

Since losing weight my face has completely dropped, and I look my age (and more) but I think this will give me back a bit of confidence

That's a very good job. Looks great!

LadyLapsang · 03/04/2025 19:57

Wow, fantastic result. I would be tempted if they were in London.

wizzywig · 03/04/2025 19:58

Nice!

Christine1998 · 03/04/2025 20:14

Wow! Looks fab. I have botox in the same area, but this looks so much better.

Great result.

I had it done several years ago and it lasted ages.

I now get Botox at my dentist occasionally and asked about getting it done again but she said they now prefer to inject further up the face to lift it rather than in the lines.

I don’t like the chubby cheeked lifted look so haven’t bothered since.

Might try somewhere else as that was maybe just her opinion.

Yours is exactly what I am after 😀

There is that theory - a little line across your cheeks lifting everything but I have found that results in the puffy cheeks with little squishy eyes . Filler in the triangles at the side of your mouth gives a much more natural look. They are developing new and better fillers all the time.

Azuresky68 · 03/04/2025 21:38

Great result! I am 68 and would love to get rid of marionette lines, lines going up from my top lip that looks like I was a smoker and under eyebags - they are hereditary. Have always been scared to get anything done.
Any recommendations for West Yorkshire please? I guess I would go to South Manchester to get the fabulous result you have got OP

piscofrisco · 04/04/2025 15:35

That looks perfect!

Trees6 · 04/04/2025 17:39

Lovely job!

MirandaWild · 04/04/2025 17:50

Looks great. I have been thinking about this sorry of thing -same depth - have lost weight plus age-related loss of cheek fat pad volume) but I don’t realise that filling in the marionette lines was a way to go - I thought one replaced the fat pad volume on the cheek bone, so very interesting.

booksandbakinglover · 04/04/2025 17:50

Good for you! And it’ll look even better when you’ve healed 🥰

CareerChange24 · 07/04/2025 03:34

Looks really good! Undetectable as in I’d never know - an injector said to me it would look puffy and to do the cheeks. Your great results are proof that’s rubbish. Hope you are pleased 😌

Woollygreymittens · 07/04/2025 11:39

Looks fantastic!

MargotB · 07/04/2025 15:05

Great results @Idontjetwashthefucker

Would you mind posting the details of the clinic/practitioner please?

cally201 · 07/04/2025 15:09

You look great!

dollyblue01 · 09/04/2025 13:51

Looks really good 😊

fancytoes · 09/11/2025 18:17

@Idontjetwashthefuckerhow is your filler faring? I’m looking for exactly what you have had done so would be lovely to see it 6months down the line if you care to post an update?

Puppylucky · 09/11/2025 18:39

Looks great but be aware that the area is still swollen at the moment so the final results may not be so dramatic. I have fillers in the same area every 18 months so am used to how the effect changes

Any chance you could post before and after photo @Puppylucky? this thread is fairly old and I’m looking for inspiration!

Looks good! I want this

Wow this looks fantastic!! I’m not surprised you feel great!!

May I ask how old you are OP? I would really consider this myself, but have been told that at 60, fillers aren’t going to work, and that I need a facelift (which is way beyond my budget unfortunately!)

Don't feel obliged to reveal your age!

At 60 I had some fillers in “smokers lines” above my lip… despite never having had a single cigarette pass my lips 😃
A year later still there and am so pleased.. went to a doctor .. I am not letting anybody else inject into my face.
I have had some micro needling too and I am very very happy.
