Had filler yesterday...

...in my marionette lines and I'm chuffed with the results already, despite the bit of swelling/bruising.

Since losing weight my face has completely dropped, and I look my age (and more) but I think this will give me back a bit of confidence

Looks fab! I have botox in the same area, doesn’t quite look as good as yours but i have botox for my “11’s” and crows feet so kept with the same. Makes me feel soooo much better.

ThePoshUns · 16/03/2025 17:47

Wow what a difference, you must be thrilled.

HenDoNot · 16/03/2025 17:48

Brilliant results, very natural and doesn’t look like you’ve had filler at all. I’d be really pleased!

PrettayGood · 16/03/2025 17:49

That’s amazing!

I have a bit of Botox at the corners and it works really well, but it doesn’t last more than 3 months.

Were you born in 1998? Do you think 26 is too young for Botox? Or do you preventative is the key. I’ve only had two lots of Botox and I’m 35

I remember your username and you helping me when I said I had 6 stone to lose. I lost 5 and a half. You gave me a real boost to try and do it. Glad your filler has turned out so well for you

Looks fab op! I've been thinking about filler in the same place as well as Botox for my number 11s in between my eyes.
How often will you need to have the filler done to keep on top of the lines, how much did it cost and where did you get it done?

Snap

ICanTellYouMissMe · 16/03/2025 18:07

I got this done 5 months ago for the first time and I much prefer my face with it done.

Trees6 · 16/03/2025 18:11

It looks terrific. Genuinely.

Hi. No, I’m 56, (98 is my daughters birth year)

Ahh. I do know people who start in their mid 20’s and I do think they are wasting their money. I’ve had botox into my marionette lines but subsequently been told it makes the muscles lazy and can cause more drooping. So I think I’ll go down the filler route. Especially after seeing the op’s results. I struggle with trusting someone with something permanent like filler, so botox felt safer

CherryRipe1 · 16/03/2025 18:16

Looks great, very subtle but effective.

ICanTellYouMissMe · 16/03/2025 18:16

Botox can’t fix marionettes though, only filler can…fill the lines.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 16/03/2025 18:31

Thank you for your kind comments, I'll post again in a few days once everything has settled 😊

Looks really nice, nice to see a decent job so natural and not overdone

Delatron · 16/03/2025 18:45

Looks good OP. I think the general thinking now is that fillers last a lot longer than previously thought so hopefully you’ll get a good few years out of them.

I think it’s the manufacturers that say ‘6-18 months to make you have them not often. I had tear trough fillers in 2021 and definitely do not need any more. Just something to be aware of

TeaIsNice · 16/03/2025 18:46

nice! i have botox in my 11 lines for migraines and well, it's a win win!

JMAngel1 · 16/03/2025 20:52

Where did you go in south manchester please? looks fantastic.

Great result.

I had it done several years ago and it lasted ages.

I now get Botox at my dentist occasionally and asked about getting it done again but she said they now prefer to inject further up the face to lift it rather than in the lines.

I don’t like the chubby cheeked lifted look so haven’t bothered since.

Might try somewhere else as that was maybe just her opinion.

Yours is exactly what I am after 😀

Idontjetwashthefucker · 03/04/2025 19:41

So I'm a few weeks in following the filler, still a teeny bit of swelling which is barely noticeable...really pleased with the results
