I'll probably regret this, but look at these pictures and tell me what I should have done to my hair...............

please?

And please don't look at my face, I hate having my photo taken and it's hard trying to take photos of yourself with a handheld digital camera

I've had my hair like this FOREVER, and I want to get it cut (or something) on Friday (now that Argos has screwed up and won't be delivering my stuff until next week) but don't know what to have done with it........I'm not very good at "styling" it so needs to be something ridiculously easy to keep looking ok.......

hair down

hair down from the front (ooops think I caught the sun today )

tied back

up from the front (I don't really have a triple/quadruple chin - honestly!)

Come on - ideas for me please.........otherwise I'll end up with my standard on the shoulder, layered type thing

which I'm BORED of........

You're very pretty. I think I would give you a fringe. You remind me of a tv presenter, bbc, about 35ish hmmm. I wish I could think of her name. She has a blonde flicky do.

barking · 08/05/2008 22:47

I would say don't have it cut - you really do have the most gorgeous hair, very swishy and lovely
All I would do is have a zigzag or far side parting and let your hair fall forward around your face - very sexy!
I have wavy hair and had the choppy bob thing, also with 3 boys there is no time to maintain it. I think natural is beautiful - I often see women at the hairdresser with the most gorgeous hair having it straightened and I think it gives a sort of dank/lanky look.

ShinyPinkShoes · 08/05/2008 22:51

Beautiful hair

I'd have it cut into a long bob if I were you. It looks as though you could go for a straight look or curly if you had some layers cut into it.

Buda · 09/05/2008 00:41

Go for a choppy bob with no fringe - v. easy to have a fringe put in later but not so easy to stick the hair back on!

DarthVader · 09/05/2008 08:05

Chin length layered bob with fringe

You are v attractive and a new style will have them fainting in the aisles!

Good luck!

are you pleased with it?

ja9 · 09/05/2008 13:15

faq - i got a fringe cut last week. am loving it, but it's horrid before i use my straighteners!

FAQ · 09/05/2008 13:19

yes I am quite pleased with it, bumped into a few people I know in town - one that I don't see very often (who was sat RIGHT outside the hairdressers as I walked out), one who I see every couple of weeks (well she's not really a friend just one of the mums from school) - I didn't see her at first but she came up to me and said it looked really nice, and then another friend I see almost DAILY - who didn't recognise me and I had to call her name as she walked straight past me !!

FAQ · 09/05/2008 13:38

no this is the "just stepped out of the salon then dragged a 4yr old and pushchair through New Look, Select, Peacocks (sorry for choice of shops - just about all we've got in town LOL), Wilkinsons, Boots, and then into a roasting McDonalds (to placate by now very grumpy 4yr old)then back home in the humid heat up the hill" look

Thanks everyone.

JodieG1 · 09/05/2008 13:45

That really suits you, you look fab

ChippyMinton · 09/05/2008 13:57

That is a really lovely haircut, are you pleased you went for it?

DarthVader · 09/05/2008 13:59

It's fab!
I think you could also wear a more dramatic version of this cut - asymmetric? or longer at the front & shorter at the back and it would really suit you!

FAQ · 09/05/2008 14:06

well it is a little longer at the front, but seen as though i'd decided to go for the fringe I thought I'd play "safe" this time.....

Definitely pleased I went for it
