I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

Absolutely love the scent kit. One of the best they have done in terms of liking all of the perfumes. I have ended up buying another one. Such a good way to collect but not overly commit.

I have been toying with the idea of Ffern perfumes but don’t want to go for full bottles and flap around with returns if I don’t like them. Just discovered they have a shop in Soho and bought Spring 25 box direct. That one is lovely.

I’m pleased with my BD. I think I’ll be making use of all of it!!

I found all the ffern perfumes smelled pretty much the same @Primrosespaw. I got very bored with returning them.

My BD box and the scent kit have just arrived. I'm absolutely delighted with the scent kit - it's fantastic. The only one I'm not too fussed about is the Molecules (bit old hat imo) but ds will happily have that. some really gorgeous new scents to try and decent sizes as well. Very very chuffed.

The BD box is good as well. I already have a full bottle of Dear Polly but a travel sample is good. Haircare stuff looks nice, love Good Genes and am happy with Votary as well. I don't love Granado perfumes but it'll do as air freshener!

Looks like I'll be keeping my BD sub going then...

I often bitch about the perfume selections in the boxes so I would like to record my total satisfaction with these! The Grenado is a nice fresh citrusy cologne, and I love Dear Polly and had run out. Great box for me.

Me too…cancelled recently as I just found that all I can smell is the initial alcohol carrier they use. I love some of the notes, like the violets in this years earlier one…but it’s all a bit of a muchness in the end. I had one of their candles this year, lovely holder but they signed me up for every one of them as well as the perfume…it was expensive for a candle and I really need no more than one!

I've just opened my box and the scent kit. I haven't tested any from the scent kit yet but I'm really pleased with the box. I like both the perfumes and I'll use everything else. A really good one for me!

Love the box. Mini hair stuff is always great for my gym bag and the other bits look good!

Really happy with this box, only thing I won’t use is the dear Polly perfume, smells awful to me but have a friend who always takes my perfume discards!! Always a bit narked when they put fragrance in as I rarely like it, the citrus one will do to Chuck in my work bag so will get used.
overall though it’s a great box for me.

So the Granado isn't something I will repurchase but very wearable and better than last quarter where I was repeatedly washing my wrists to try and remove the smell.

So how does it work with scent kits, this is the first one I’ve bought. I’m tempted to smell them all now as I want to see which ones I like. But don’t want to spray them and get the smells all mixed up. How does you remember which you like and which you don’t like? Any tips?

Enjoy the scent kit, I got one last year and adore two of the scents. This year’s looks really good, but I’ve got enough to get me through to next summer. I’d be interested in hearing thoughts on the Ex Nihilo scent, as I loved Spiky Muse in the Mother’s Day edit, and Vyrao, as love Witchy Woo.

I haven’t liked a single scent from Bibbi or Vilhelm Parfumerie.

I usually get them all out for a whiff but I'm being good this time and having one a day started with sun Rae lovely citrus and I think ginger

I also go on fragrantica to check out the scent profiles before I start smelling them

Has anyone else only got a small amount of cream in their Votary? Mine is almost empty.

Definitely not full to brim, but not nearly empty. I think mine will be up to top of label.

Last year one of my boxes was missing the Votary Self Tan drops.
I emailed Liberty & was very surprised but delighted to receive another complete beauty drop box not just the missing Votary stuff.

Just got this July's box.
Not entirely sure on either of the perfumes yet.
The Dizziak shampoo & conditioner sound good.
The Votary moisturiser will go in my travel bag.
Interested in seeing whether my face will like the lactic acid version of Good Genes as my face doesn't like the glycolic version.

Edited to add: my Votary moisturiser is full (well up to just over the label so I presume that's full)

Quick question - is it supposed to smell herby like Oregano mixed with green grass?
Though I suppose that's the Nigella Seed (Black Cumin) in it I'm getting

I’m quite pleased with my box, especially the perfumes but my Votary is also only half full.

Don’t know if it’s enough to merit an email to customer services but a tiny bit miffed.

I purchased the Festival Edit today, my balance was nearing £200 and burning a whole in my pocket and it had good reviews so decided to give it a go.

I didn't realise there were two versions of Good Genes, turns out my full size is glycolic so this is something new to try.

I caved and bought the scent kit. My resolve was good but now you're all saying it's great and I really want the ex nihilo. Plus I've had a shitty day with some bad news. Fuck it. Life is too short.

I'm still learning, but I like to try them first, try to figure it out, then look at Fragrantica to see if I was right or if I agree with reviews.

I normally get perfume discovery sets with 1.5ml or 2ml samples, which seem too precious to splash around, so I ration myself to one or maybe two per day. Because this Liberty set has much larger samples, I went a bit mad this afternoon and sprayed five of them on me!

I do make brief notes on my reactions to each.

I also do the Fragrantica thing but over the years you do start to remember what notes smell like what & then can start to pick them out in fragrances.

I can also tell (99% of the time) from a fragrance's description (notes) what it may smell like & if I'll like it before I try it.

However LBTY Vine Thief completely threw me, as on paper I should not have liked it at all, but it's become one of my favourites as it's an olfactory combination of childhood happy memory smells so it's an 'emotional' scent

Can I ask in anyone who purchased the scent edit over the weekend got double points?

@OvaHere Sorry to hear you had a rubbish day and bad news, hopefully you will be delighted with the scent edit. The bag is definitely a favourite and possibly my favourite one of all the Liberty ones I own.
