I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

Does anyone have their eye on anything with the 20% skincare discount tomorrow? I read the T&Cs and it says selected skincare and brands excluded are Aesop, Trish McEvoy, Trinny London.

I'm not sure if that means everything else in skincare will be eligible or it will be a 'curated' selection of products. A bit disappointing for Trinny lovers because I think her range would have been popular with 20% off.

I really don't need anything but with 20% off and double points I am going to have to look first thing.

Possibly- people avoid the thread once boxes are sent if they don’t want to know the contents until theirs arrives.
Posting the contents which might seem insignificant to you and the others who posted - does ruin the surprise for others.

I loved the kat burki vitamin c cream that was in a bd box a while ago. Unfortunately I'm all outta money due to the scent kit taking all my dosh.

My scent kit is marked as despatched which I wasn't expecting as official release not til Tuesday.

I'm wondering if they do some sort of early release for staff/ vips/ whatever which somehow found its way on here?

Yeah - it says non-customer facing for the scent with love kit, but still shows as available.

It's not giving away anything if a pp posts what's in the Scent With Love kit as all the details are on the Liberty website/email people have got & this is a kit you buy not get free.
So obviously you want to see/know what you are buying.

And regarding spoilers for the July Beauty drop kit, it was a link that was posted so you don't have to click on it if you don't want to see it.
Spoiler links have been posted previously over the years & as far as I remember no one complained

There are so many Mumsnet threads for people who want to argue with each other - this thread has always been a lovely place for us to share our enthusiasm and thoughts on all things Liberty beauty related. It would be great to keep it that way.

Most posters are happy with a link being posted early but for no naming of content prior to despatch date. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask that that is respected? Anyone who wants to discuss things earlier can always start their own thread.

In other news, I have just had an email from Liberty that my box is on its way…

You definitely don’t need to feel small, I’ve been on these since the beginning under various names and it was agreed only spoilers from the despatch date so people could join in and know when to avoid.
I was pissed off to read contents so early too, especially as I think this one is poor, stops me having something to look forward to.

There was a post listing the contents of the July box yesterday it’s now gone, and the thread is spoilers from the dispatch date, so there’s a reason PP were annoyed. Agree with @AprilLady , there’s so many places to moan, complain and argue, I appreciate these threads as a nice place to get excited over the trivia life. In general, I look at time stamps and don’t reply to people posting after the witching hour! 😂No it’s not a state secret of course, but it is disappointing.

I got my email too that the box is on the way. I saw the spoiler post so surprise is gone but it didn’t list brands I’m excited.

The BD members 20% discount on skincare went live at midnight last night so I spent a good while putting things in the basket, removing them, adding something else then removing it.

So far I haven't bought anything even though I have BD vouchers, it's all too expensive for impulse purchases of things I don't know if I will like. Think I will just save the vouchers for future kits or in case I have a change of heart about buying the AC in a month or two.

If people want to be surprised by the BD contents then maybe it’s best to avoid the thread so close to dispatch date? Even sticking strictly to the dispatch date rule surely there is the chance of spoilers as some people will receive it before others.

As others have said, this should be a fun thing and a bit of escapism, someone shouldn’t feel they have to leave the thread because of it.

You seem to have a good stash @OvaHere going by your other thread! And we’re all getting ready for Christmas season remember. I don’t think the BD drop is worth it for just the quarterly boxes, it’s good for the free delivery and discounts on kits that you actually want. I make a saving there. I’m not sure if I’ll get the Liberty AC, I don’t think ACs are for me. There’s some homeware I want from there that is the same value, and I think I’d rather spend the credit on that than the AC.

There's a couple of Sisley products I would love to try but even discounted it's a lot of money to waste if I were to hate them.

Good point about homewares etc. I may end up buying some xmas presents from there.

Are the double loyalty points not showing for anyone when they go to place an order? I wonder if it’s something added later on and won’t show at checkout?

I don't know if the LED mask counts as skincare (it's listed under skincare) but I really recommend LED masks. That said the Liberty one isn't cheap and I think stylpro is a better option.
I have rosacea, the redness didn't fade in Spring/Summer like it usually did, in cold light of day looking in the rear view mirror was horrifying. So I went back to google. I already had 2 led masks but very lax in using them. Zutta with no NIR and Stylpro with NIR. Made a huge difference, so every morning before I get up I use the Stylpro one 5mins on 633 and 5 on NIR settings. Skin is also loving Q+As azelaic fwiw (trying to build my skin up to higher %) and the price of that is fantastic. I don't recommend the Zutta, nothing wrong with it, but NIR is a must, if you look at Stylpro site they have lots of info, I paid £70 for it. But if you have lots of credit....

I’ve just placed an order and they definitely didn’t show. I’m not receiving any emails at all from Liberty at the moment so this is the first I’ve heard about double points. I wouldn’t have known about the skincare discount either if I hadn’t read it here. Thank you, whoever posted that.
