I'm very happy.

I like it - think it’s a good mix.

Im on holiday for the delivery date, I might message to see if they can delay the delivery.

Do we only get the discount on pre orders?

I don't want to pre-order if I can help it as I wanted my vouchers to build up a bit to reduce the outlay. The discount holds until 20 August (or until pre-order sells out) so I think I'll hold on to accumulate another month.

I'm really torn. It's nice enough and between the discount and BD vouchers right now it would only cost £50 of 'real' money. I hope some others reveal before pre order ends so I can make a more informed choice. If I go with this one I'm fairly certain I'll end up buying another one too. I wanted to be good and just buy one very expensive one this year but I think I might be lying to myself.

I know I’ll get 2 - I’ve decided not to agonise over it. Maybe Liberty and space NK.

Agree we need more reveals.

I don’t think this is correct. I think you get the discount as a BD member regardless of when you buy it.

I tried to order an AC using my BD credit and the discount, plus a bit on top but something went wrong and it came up as cancelled. It’s not taken any money or used the BD credit luckily, but now it’s made me consider if I really want it

The Liberty Advent is a hit for me & looks even better than last year.
Love that they included 8 fragrances including an LBTY one, though it will now take my LBTY fragrance collection up to 5 😂

Re LBTY products I wonder why they haven't released the Liquid Eye Patch to buy as it seems lots of us liked it.

Looks like Liberty may not be doing a specific fragrance calendar given so many perfumes in the advent.

I reckon I will probably buy it with the BD discount also do we get loyalty points on these as that's an extra £5 per £100 spend back in vouchers I think.

I'll get serious FOMO if it's releases end August which I think is the earliest of the big names?

@TracyBeakerSoYeah I’d love to be able to buy more of the eye patch stuff. I really like this calendar over all. Not so keen on most of the hair products (with the exception of the Davines) but there’s a good number of fragrances and I do like stuff from Vilhelm Parfumerie. Plenty of skincare I’m happy to try and it’s nice to see an AB product other that the rich cream haha. Personally I think it’s a great improvement on last year. I’ll hold off purchasing for a couple of weeks though as this is my birthday month (do we still get £5 Liberty credit?) and I’ll also have another £20 beauty drop credit by then

I also like the look of the calendar although have three of the perfumes already so there will be swapsies. Will wait and see what Space NK come up with first though I think.

The Glow set is tempting too! Has anyone got theirs yet to report back?

I think this year’s advent does look pretty good. They seem to have decided that scent kits sell, so it makes sense to include quite a few in the calendar (and no candles after last year’s debacle!).

I doubt they will do a fragrance calendar. They did try a 12 day one back in 2021, released a bit late and looked a bit like a reaction to the first Harrods calendar that year. But it was much more expensive than the Harrods one and less good value overall, and ended up being discounted in the Christmas sale that year, if I remember correctly. So having not had a success with that, they seem to have decided against doing one after that. Always possible they’ll try again though - will need to be able to compete on price with Harrods and HN to make it work though.

I love the large drawstring bag that it comes in. It's the only non beauty addition this year & is great.

Had my Glow kit….hate the perfume though 🙄 so a bit disappointing. I’m yet to have a good mooch as I was going out the door when it arrived. Tore it open to try the scent as it was one of the selling points for me, worked out well. 😂

Mine has arrived today. Only smelt the perfume. I quite like it. Not sure I would purchase it but I think it's a grower and one that potentially might layer well. It reminds me a little bit of Killian Love Don't Be Shy.

Fruit/Candy/Bubblegum are the notes I get from it but it's also quite a fresh scent, verging on minty but not quite. I wouldn't be surprised if some people think it smells a little bit 'mouthwash'. Probably not a scent that everyone will enjoy.

Glow Set arrived. Not bad value with BD discount and £20 loyalty vouchers. It looks fairly decent although I don't think I'll get on with the Bibbi perfume.

In case anyone is interested Selfridges are giving Liberty a run for their money with their beauty boxes/bags. I got the glow one from them, now sold out, and it was much better value at £65 and had a sunset hour perfume. It may come back in stock as it did before! But they seem to have got in on the beauty bag/box thing, decent quality brands but much better value. Worth looking out for anyway.

@IDontHateRainbows agree that Selfridges have some good ones. The last one I bought had 10ml of Delina in it.

I'm very happy with the Sunset Glow kit. I like the perfume and have decided I don't need the Malin and Goetz Strawberry perfume now, I wanted it for ages but they're very similar.

I'll definitely be getting the Liberty advent, it's one of the best I've seen and I'll have £200 BD credit after the next payment. I'm loving the number of perfumes in it plus I really want to try the Creme de la Mer lip balm which I'd never buy otherwise.

I may go for another too, likely SpaceNK and definitely any perfume advent I can get my hands on!
