Feeling comfy for BIL and SIL arriving without being too casual.

Today I wore a MH sweatshirt and new Annette Goertz trousers to go out for lunch at a lovely foodie pub. In pouring rain, so I also needed a waterproof coat. Tallying the total cost was embarrassing.

Today I wore a green and pink varsity style t-shirt from Anthro ($50), Mother jeans $225 and pink Birkenstocks ($150) and it was a terrible idea because I was literally boiling the entire day through. Am now in Gap pj shorts and vest and feel SO much better!

I'm not wearing anything fancy today just a tiktok shop wide leg tracksuit in cream because I'm working from home and nobody will see me, but I have bought the lovely uniqlo dress again in pink, the last one I bought was in blue, it was only £24.90 and a white crochet 3/4 length sleeve short cardigan to go with it from Roman £30.
It's such a comfortable dress and skims the body so well.

Thank you, I have wardrobe of nice dresses and skirts, but it’s very much jumper weather for most of the day here. Perhaps tomorrow I will change for dinner and pop on something different!

I'm wearing this Celtic wrap from Gaelsong — https://www.gaelsong.com/product/158282/apparel-celtic-wraps — it was about $80 and honestly one of my favorite layering pieces, especially when it’s chilly but not full-on coat weather.
I paired it with black high-waisted jeans from Levi’s (around $70), a basic long-sleeve tee from Uniqlo ($20), and some leather ankle boots I grabbed on sale from Clarks for about $90. Whole outfit’s comfy but still feels kind of put-together, especially with the wrap—it adds a bit of character.

I've been looking at celtic knitted items this week and longing for winter. Love them.
