Leather crossbody bag - but cool :)

Help me find a bag. I’m looking for a bag that will play the same role as my small mulberry lily (although could go a bit bigger).
I’m looking at something in the same price bracket ideally and a good quality brand, but maybe a little bit edgier?
I don’t want coach or Michael kors or Marc Jacobs … but am lost for ideally of other brands! Does anyone have any suggestions. I really like the style of this bag but would like to to be leather

I absolutely LOVE this bag from the Wanderers Travel company - I love the way you can wear in loads of different ways, very clever: little handbag, crossbody, shoulder etc etc. I have a wanderers bag and the leather is lovely.

I was out shopping today for the same thing - I need something that will fit my bits and bobs for a normal work day and a separate pocket easily accessible for my phone. Oliver Bonas had a few nice ones, not expensive - this is the one I'm considering, but there are others roughly the same size and I couldn't make a decision. They aren't particularly 'special' though.

@Hskatkat yep, they are a blatant copy of someone else’s intellectual property. Their Amazon shop also mentions “leather” in the product title ( which is basically a long list of key words). Many will see only that without going down to read the actual description where is states they are made of PU.

On another note, Jasper Conran has a range of bags (including crossbody) that are right up my street but they are all made of bloody PU leather 🤯 As much as I love the designs, I won’t buy a plastic bag.

Eta: just had a look, not all JC bags are made of PU, just the cheaper range.

@Igavebirthtoabanana I'm not a pleather fan it's crap (imo) I got told off on another thread for being shocked a plastic rucksack was almost £60! Got several snippy replies! 😂
"Vegan leather" is just landfill no longevity as a product but thousands of years as waste.

I’m old enough to remember before vegan leather was a was term.

everything made of it was cheap and noone would have ever considered paying much for it never mind actually coveting it! Most people would prefer to swerve it!

I still can’t believe people have fallen for it! Yes I get it’s not made with animal (although it’s a byproduct of the meat industry mostly) but environmentally it’s disgusting.

I mean I have used it so I’m not panning it but were talking Asda handbag not designer prices!

It can't stand the sweaty plasticky smell.

I look after my bags and shoes and have collected bags for years and have a dedicated accessories room.

like I said I’m not panning i have owned cheap pu. Bags, shoes even jackets back in the day but I and no one else ever paid a lot for it!
some things still own and has lasted for years but it was never seen as luxurious!

And when they say "made from soft PU leather". Of course it's bloody soft, it's a plastic coating on top of fabric backing. "Soft" hide leather is a mark of quality and good craftsmanship.

Vegan leather is just a wanky word for plastic. Like vegan bacon, it's shite.

Love these - do you have suede by any change (if yes, how is it), do you use it every day or for going out?

I have the green leather and it's really beautiful. I use it for going on walks/ travelling when I don't need a big bag. It holds my mini iPad/ phone/ keys/ folding shopper.
