Leather crossbody bag - but cool :)

Help me find a bag. I’m looking for a bag that will play the same role as my small mulberry lily (although could go a bit bigger).
I’m looking at something in the same price bracket ideally and a good quality brand, but maybe a little bit edgier?
I don’t want coach or Michael kors or Marc Jacobs … but am lost for ideally of other brands! Does anyone have any suggestions. I really like the style of this bag but would like to to be leather

I saw a bag on so.eone in Hong Kong about 5 years ago. I didn't ask in case there was a language barrier but I sneakily took a little snapshot of it on my phone. We were in a queue in Starbucks. I looked for it and only this year discovered it was songmint but sadly the bag is no longer available. Looked so luxe, soft black leather. Still my dream bag.

I have the Gucci camera bag and it's probably the most practical bag I own. (Also have a Mulbs Lily).

The half moon bags from Honey & Toast are beautiful leather and come in two different sizes. I have the small black and conker ones and they're aging really nicely. They feel classic but modern at the same time.

I have the All saints half moon bag linked earlier on this thread, and I love it, but it’s very small and probably smaller than what the OP is looking for.

I would buy again from All saints though, I really like the bag.

i have my eye on this Ganni bag but having heard the Polene store is now open in London, there will be stiff competition for my bag affections!

I love Vivienne Westwood personally, I feel so much of their stuff goes with my style. This is my everyday bag but they do a few different crossbody styles :)

La Portegna is a really good quality Spanish brand. I bought a Demellier Vancouver a year ago and the leather has started to peel, as well as the gold in the hardware (that happened almost straight away). So I’m looking to get the Portegna paulita next.

@MangoesAndPeaches I agree regarding Demellier it's surprisingly poor quality. It's not a brand I like but a friend had one of theirs bags and to me it just looked like any high street bag and the hardware was poor. Hers was a gift, it didn't last a year before looking scruffy.

@mealdeal20 FWIW I'm mid 30s and have a cross body Kate Spade bag which I love. I also used to use Mulberries a lot. I didn't even know Kath Kidson did clothes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I understand what OP means here. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve clicked on a bag featured on a TK Maxx ad on social media to find that it’s Radley. Every time, it’s Radley!

Even though I like the bags I’d never buy one because I have a thing against the brand (it’s the silly dog motifs that I found twee and ugly 10-15 years ago). It doesn’t make sense but sometimes a particular brand is a turn off no matter what!
