Tesco make-up souffle eyeshadow in sea foam. Love it.

woodenchair · 02/05/2008 14:21

Lidl Iseree (?) Q10 day cream. As good as L'oreal, I reckon. And about 2 quid.

ChippyMinton · 03/05/2008 09:11

Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation, and the dream mousse blusher is very easy to use. (available in Tesco - was buy 3 get cheapest item free a weeka go, not sure if still is)

BBBee · 03/05/2008 09:12

agree with LL - tesco eyeshadow is V good - good range of colours - fine for day but prob not enough pigment for eve.

Will check if not sparkly in a min but I don't think they are.

Their touche eclait copy is okay-ish.

Sainsburys make up removing wipes are good too.

BBBee · 03/05/2008 09:13

tesco hair serum is better than most others - someone said that already I think.

Tesco do a gel-like hand serum which is lovely! (in their 'make-up' range) It feels really silky. I've got in the habit of keeping it in the car for when I'm stuck in traffic on the school run.

BBBee · 03/05/2008 09:22

yes - for ages had been using john freda or trevor - even ponce ones from salons. One day at my sisters washed hair and borrowed her tesco one and haven't used anything else since.

God I am such a snob - I remember sneering as I used it for the first time!

BBBee · 03/05/2008 09:23

gel hand serum sounds good.

Nbg · 03/05/2008 09:24

Boots own coconut leave in conditioner spray.

Tres good.

Yep, smells lurrrvely.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner too but I wasn't all that impressed.
I'm a tresemme girl.

Although I have been using Head and Shoulders two in one as dh bought it and used it on dd.
Her hair was all shiny and smooth so I've been onto that and its pretty good.

Thats for a different codpiece though.

BBBee · 03/05/2008 09:48

just looked at tesco eyeshadow - is shimmery but not sparkly.

Furball · 03/05/2008 11:11

tesco long lasting lipstick thingy with the colour in one end and the gloss in the other.

£5.99 but stays put even after a meal and nice colours too. Paint on the colour, let it dry then add the Lip gloss which for me is too glossy so I use lipsalve instead

woodenchair · 03/05/2008 13:08

I need non sparkly non shimmery eyeshadow?
Am thinking a MAC replacement that won't cost me a tenner everytime I want a new one.

janeite · 03/05/2008 16:06

I've just bought a couple of Revlon eyeshadow quads - nice colours £8 and if you buy in Boots you get a free eyeliner at the moment too. They are supposedly long lasting colours but I use Urban Decay primer potion anyway, which makes even el-cheapo colours last all day.

Sorry Cod - not Boots own brand but it was in answer to woodenchair's question so don't shoot me!

saltire · 03/05/2008 16:10

Boots own brand Witch Hazel

PinkTulips · 03/05/2008 16:58
