Cleaning makeup brushes?

How is everyone cleaning their makeup brushes these days? I’ve been using shampoo but it takes a while to get the product out. Is there a better method?

I do it this way too and never had a problem - I also have a mix of brushes. Never lost a bristle and no flaking handles, they come out almost dry too 😀
