It is one sleep away! We’ve all been very patient, since Liberty London revealed their advent calendar in June this year.

Reveals from 7am GMT each morning please. This is to harmonise discussion/shift work/different time zones.

I've banned myself from buying more candles (have quite a stockpile!) so I'm delighted to get a new one without breaking the ban 😆

I still have last year's candle in the lounge and I can smell it without being lit. I really need to start lighting them snd enjoy them!
I've used the serum in the morning and it has definitely taken down my red cheeks.

Another good day. I can't resist candles so this will be added in to the collection.

The last two nights I woke about 2am and was awake for hours Went back into a light sleep then still got up early, clearly I can't wait to open my calender!
Love the candle and I am weird about smells, they have to be just right The tomato one was given away, I hope I don't get it back this year 😅

Haven't lit it yet but if the candle is anything like the perfumes then I'm expecting a strong & good throw.

@TracyBeakerSoYeah that's really interesting to look at! Some of the products have been calendar stalwarts - Dr Sebagh Serum repair and the Baies candle - defo agree though I'd rather have this years🥰 I do like it when you get something unusual though - liked the Egyptian magic cream we got one year which proved useful and popular with the whole family and also the deodorant cream - both things I didn't even know existed and wouldn't have tried otherwise.

Day one - I don't love it, but will use it. I wore it to work today and got a few compliments, but found it didn't have much longevity on my skin.

Day two - I've just applied it for the second time. I like it, but don't so far don't love it. I have very combination skin, prone to some congestion - this seems to sit nicely without making me oil-ier though.

Day three - I've been burning it for about 20 minutes, and already the scent has filled the room. It's not a profile I usually go for in home fragrance but I'm really enjoying it! I have a bad habit of hoarding nice candles, hence burning this one straight away to try and break the habit!

Controversially I really liked the tomato candle! Not something I'd ever buy for myself, but that's part of the fun of advent calendars.

Love the candle today, going to light it at weekend when friends round for dinner she not hoard as a "good one"
DH got verden bath oil in his today.

Loved the candle, would definitely re-buy when it’s finished.

Seems to be out of stock everywhere. I’m not a candle person so this was one of the DoDs I took out when I received it. However, I really really like it. It’s got none of the things I don’t like about candles, the burning smell and lingering. It is a really nice ambient background smell and has really good throw too. With young kids, I’m not leaving candles burning much but the few times I’ve had it going it’s been nice.

I’m hoping some makeup appears soon. Surprising myself, as too much makeup was one of the reasons I ruled out other ACs. I want the treat factor in December I think, especially if I’m not buying anything else.

I know most people don’t want the resale chat - but i thought it might be helpful to mention if you do really like a product do look at resale sites as people list them instantly. If you really love yesterday’s serum and want more it is a good way to stock up.

@Netaporter that sounds like heaven. I’m also an empty nester but my dogs wouldn’t let me relax in the morning. The coffee sounds amazing.

Today’s will go in my gym bag. Again I love the brand.

Looking forward to trying the shampoo but I am a Kerastase girl at heart!

Happy to try today's shampoo -I like the scent of other Ouai products and this is a new one for me. Plus my hair definitely needs detoxing, along with the rest of me I suspect! Has anyone tried this before -not too drying I hope?

OUAI Detox Shampoo Deluxe 30ml

I’ve been using OUAI brand since I got some in a Cult Beauty edit, I really like it. I’ve not used the detox shampoo before though so looking forward to trying this. I love their St Tropez smell. This detox shampoo is the Melrose Place smell “Plus, it's infused with the brand's signature Melrose Place fragrance, a harmony of rose, lychee, bergamot, cedarwood and white musk”. It’s lovely but I’m not so into rose. But I use the shampoo all the time. I like that the brand has refill pouches you can buy at a very reasonable price. Easy way to accrue Liberty Loyalty points or spend Beauty Drop credit. But the brand doesn’t do refill pouches for St Tropez unfortunately even though it’s one of their most popular smells.

Todays has been popped in my case ready for trip to Center Parcs this weekend - perfect timing! Least exciting item so far but I like this brand a lot their scents are gorgeous.

Am I right in thinking you only use a detox shampoo once a week? I have used olaplex detox before but not tried ouai before so looking forward to trying this

I like the shampoo so far. Tried it this morning and it made my hair squeaky (not entirely certain if this is a good thing or not), but my hair is wavy and troublesome, so will see how it turns out after it's air dried. I can't comment on the smell as I'm full of cold.

Yes - @mum2three48 a detox shampoo is for a deep clean. Gets rid of all the build up etc. I like to use one before I have my hair coloured. I have really dry/curly hair so for me it's a once every 3 weeks or so.

I'm off on hols in a week and will take the shampoo, it's a nice size for that. This one feels a bit more filler than luxury but is still a nice product.

I didn't get my liberty calendar this year as I suspected I might be at risk of redundancy ( it didn't happen, but I got a new job anyway - yay). I'm so glad I get to lurk on this thread and live vicariously through you guys. Love it so far!
