Desperate plea, I need you! Help me find a beautiful dress.

Things have been going badly wrong, everytime I attempt to get a fabulous frock it has failed dismally. Time is running out and I think I may cry now.

I need a dress. A bit of a wow dress. For summer wedding - not traditional white. Budget up to four hundred pounds.

Size 10, slim and short. I think I'd prefer shorter, calf/knee length.

Any ideas?

Any colours in particular? All the same colour? Any styles you prefer?

One colour I guess, I don't usually wear patterns, but at this point I'm open to anyhtng.

I don't mind what colour really. I suit paler blues, sage greens, dusky pinks, those slightly off-colours. Not too bold.

Styles urm. I have okay clevege so lower cut is ok, some halter necks do look a bit odd on me but that might just be when they are wide strapped.

I'd rather a bit of a fuller skirt rather than tight.

Argh! That is one I've tried actually because it is very pretty. But it doesn't fit well. The top is much more square than it appears in that shot. I wondered about the possibility of getting it taken in but it'd need to be by about 5-10cm at the bottom of the ruched bodice. I don't even know if that's possible

I like that 2nd one mamag but I'd have to try it. I'm going shopping at weekend so will take a note. I'm concerned it might make me look a but curvier than I am though.
