Radley bags - are they strictly for chavs now?

because I saw one I rather liked and nearly bought it. I am a bit concerned at being mistaken for a chav though.

I hope not - I've had mine for ages and have a Radley briefcase as well!

I don't really think so. Surely they are a bit to conservative for chavs ?

NomDePlume · 25/04/2008 13:41

too

MrsBadger · 25/04/2008 13:41

if it is the right shape colour etc for youyr needs just take the dog off and no-one will look at it twice

donnie · 25/04/2008 13:41

oh well, glad I didn't go for it then!

donnie · 25/04/2008 13:42

it was a plain one I liked - I suppose I could snip the dog off.

the dog tags are just looped on. You don;t need to snip anything, just unloop it.

donnie · 25/04/2008 13:45

the dog motif does remind me of East 17! they were uber chav.

I don't like them and think they are common these days in the same way as 'boden' though iykwim.. e.g. rife in a certain group..

that said I do have a Redley hand luggage case but I'm hoping they don't count as are not so commonly seen and not used everyday.

I don't mind the messenger style ones (with tag removed of course). Not keen on the rest.

droopytits · 26/04/2008 18:02

how can they be for chavs when they are approx £160 per bag?

MargaretMountford · 26/04/2008 18:04

my SIL and niece love them - they have several and are obsessed - I just don't get it !
