My DD is looking for a floor length dress for a black tie wedding at a very smart venue. She has a budget of £200-250. Black would be fine, she is a size 8-10. Some of the sites looked at are aimed at proms. Can anyone help. She's 30 by the way.

I think Rixo is beyond budget. She's looking for something full length, black would be good maybe with some beading and interesting straps/shoulders?

What about hiring something? That way she could wear something that she’d not be able to afford to buy. Also good for the environment, particularly as a floor length formal gown is not something that would get a lot of wear
