No Next sale preview

I’ve just booked my Next VIP sale slot and can normally preview although I don’t have this option this time, anyone else?

I didn’t even get a sale slot despite always getting one previously and spending a lot with them. Especially recently as we just moved home and we’ve bought furniture!!

I phoned them up to ask as I've been given a slot for Wednesday at 2pm but no preview available. They said not everybody gets to preview it's now selected at random which kind of defeats the object of having an invite to VIP in the first place. We all write codes down for a quicker checkout so by the time we can look when VIP online actually starts things will just be sold out unfortunately. Not like it used to be unsure why they have changed it they never said.

I can preview now!

I didn't get a preview either for the first time ever and 3pm slot. I didn't bother with the sale last time, though I normally do so I wondered if that was the reason. They are also trying to reduce returns because I have a delivery pass which used to be for free delivery and free returns and suddenly I found it was charging £2 for returns. But it backfires really because all that happens is I order just one size in the hope I won't have to return it and if that doesn't fit, I then order a different size so I can then return them together if no good. So they have still paid for 2 deliveries.

I order quite a bit, I keep a bag of returns and just keep adding to it then I do all in one go at the end of 28 days. When I go into store with my returns it's very rare I see any customers buying anything it's mainly people just returning. Also just to make everyone aware if you have arranged a free collection for faulty items check your statement. I have had 6 or 7 faulty returns this year and have been charged for every single one, then refunded when I tell them.

Was about to say the same - no vip sale slot for me either. I do return alot, but buy a lot also.

Did you do anything different to get onto the preview or did it suddenly just come up when you clicked preview. Had you previously just had a time countdown for the sale?

I checked during my lunch break today and I've now got access to the preview. I quickly looked to see if they had a particular style and colour of bag, which they don't. I haven't had time to look tonight for other stuff and I won't have time tomorrow either so that's going to be no sale order from me this time. at least I'll save some money!

I don’t book a sale slot anymore as every time I ordered from the sale they say it’s on its way for about 4-6 weeks then cancel my order or I have to cancel it. Totally unacceptable to advertise stuff in stock in the sale when it’s not :(

Me neither, just checked now incase they've given last minute access.
What a shame. Don't know what this is all about? I was going to place an order on my breaktime as I'm at work and could have done so with a pre prepared list from preview. But won't have time to scroll thru countless pages. And also even with the first time slot a lot of things are now out of stock!!! So don't think i'll bother this time. C'mon Next, what you playing at???

Has anyone found anything good? Just logged in to my slot. They send me VIP slots all the time but I rarely use them. Thought I'd try this time mostly to look at what was on sale in the beauty section but there was nothing I wanted.

Ended up buying a few things in the next size up for DGS, some PJ bottoms for eldest DS and a set of pasta bowls. Looks like they'll take at least a month to arrive which is underwhelming but I don't need any of it immediately.

So I had a VIP slot for 7.30pm today. Logged in yesterday and browsed the sale just fine. Tried logging in just now for my slot and it’s saying my username and password isn’t recognised! 😫

@InTheThickOflt im having the same issue my slot was 7pm and it’s been saying it’s not recognising my log in details 😭

There isn’t usually that much in the September sale. I got a couple of Seasalt tops, DH boxers, 2 cardigans.

I also got them delivered to store as I have no idea when they are coming it just said by October 9th and am holiday at the moment. I have the delivery saver but sale stuff could just appear when I’m away

I logged in using Chrome browser (instead of safari on iPhone) and it worked! But half of the list I had ready is no longer available 🙄

I still can't sign in. I do return a lot but also keep a lot.
Really disappointed, have spent a fortune with them. Am I being penalised?

Can anyone with VIP access see when the sale will be available to all?

Did anyone find a bargain? Got a few bits for dcs but nothing for myself, bit disappointing . If anyone has any inspiration on ladies coats etc please let me know!

I was awake early yesterday morning by chance so I did have a look for things that were on my list. Lots of stuff in the preview but not a lot that was suitable. Managed to place a (for me) v small order and like a pp had to get it delivered to store because although it's all in stock it said delivery on/before 9 oct. Not sure what Next were aiming at with this strategy but I've certainly spent less.
