The perfect ankle boots

I'm on the hunt for the perfect ankle boots but have yet to strike gold and hoping Mumsnet might be able to help! I usually spend my autumn/winter in DM boots but looking for something different to change things up a bit. Key criteria are they have to be comfy enough to wear all day, with a bit of a heel but no more than 2", and I'd like to be able to wear them with jeans and skirts/dresses. Budget is up to £150ish but that could shift for the right pair! I quite like western style and quite like the idea of brown suede (definitely not black). I've been looking at Ash but not entirely convinced so looking for other options and would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance!

You mentioned Ash in your initial post and I would say they probably match your brief closely. I've had a few pairs over the years and find them incredibly comfortable too. Thanks @Karmagician I'm looking to buy new though - I've bought shoes on Vinted before and it's never gone well! I've actually found brand new Ash boots elsewhere for less than that first pair too!

I love my Timberlands! And I walk the dog a lot - they are pretty much indestrucitble. My DH swears by his Vinted-gems Bluntstone (not sure about name, but he keeps yapping on about them)

Think Blundies are a bit Marmite. I bought some and they were the uncomfiest boots ever! Glad they work for your DH. But approach with caution!

Another fan of fly London boots here! Worth finding a shop and trying them on, I go between 37 and 38 depending on the style. Definitely my favourite boots though, so comfy, well designed and they last!

I was going to suggest these too. I have them in black and brown and I love them. I got my normal size but agree they are roomy and I probably could have sized down. I do appreciate being able to wear thick socks with them in winter though. I use cherry blossom ready wax on them and they have kept my feet dry in some very wet weather!

A few years ago I saw a gorgeous pair in M&S, light tan suede, v dipped front, small heel ankle boots. In my size. Reduced to £9
I have worn them to absolute death!

Identical to these and I can't find a pair I like to replace them. They're all either too wide, too big a heel, don't have the V at the front...

These are exactly what I want! I had a pair just like this years ago that I wore till they fell apart and I’ve been looking to replace them ever since.
