What autumn jackets do you have?

Looking for some inspiration (and pure nosiness as well!) and wondering what everybody else has in their autumn jacket collection?

I have the ubiquitous denim jacket and biker jacket. Also a couple of blazer type coats (one brown plaid and one olive green) and a lovely cropped mink coloured suedette shacket. Then my Orla Kiely waterproof jacket for rainy days.
Am currently toying with the idea of a short teddy fleece coat as they look very cosy....

Hmmm, on closer look that's not actually the one I have, mine isn't water repellant, it's just a kind of cotton and viscose.

Sizing for this one looks more fitted than the other one, but comes up large. I got an XS and I'm generally a 10-12 in tops.

This Mint Velvet one is pretty nice. Not sure I can justify the price however.

I bought a cute little navy quilted jacket from Hobbs. Thought it would be perfect with T-shirt and dark blue jeans… till DH piped up that I looked like I was heading off to a shift at Tesco all dressed in navy. Yup, he’s right. It didn’t look cute at all. Off to Vinted it goes 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have tons of coats! A full length waterproof trench, a short trench, a short camel wool jacket, a black teddy bomber jacket, a navy suede biker, a cream teddy flying jacket, a denim jacket with sherpa collar, a blue velvet blazer, a checked wool blazer... the trench coats are the most worn.

I have loads, although a lot of them I’ve had for years. They all do different jobs, for when it’s cool but dry, rainy, when I want to be smarter or more casual.

Max Mara tweed blazer (bought on eBay). One of my most complimented items, it was such a good find. Beautiful tweed material and silky lining.

I've just added a leopard print quilted cropped jacket from Asda, and I keep eyeing up suede jackets of various styles- I like the Sezane wills but can't justify the price when I have this many jackets

I find navy a hard colour to style so I stopped wearing it. Blue jeans give you the double navy look, navy and black doesn't look right to me, and navy and grey is a definite no.

A brown long real suede jacket I dug out of the wardrobe from @ 20 years ago, as my 20 year olds were eyeing It up. It strangely says it's washable. I'm not sure I've ever worn it.
A tan 'napped' shirt from H&M that I'm going to wear as a jacket.
A Tan trench coat & a khaki Protected Species. Plus a leopard print Mac from a few years ago.

I find navy really easy to wear!

I’d wear a navy jacket with lighter blue jeans - agree if it’s dark denim it might look too dark overall. And navy looks nice with grey IMO.

i really regret not getting this last year, i got it in black and its much too formal looking for what i wanted. i may have to put it on vinted and get this one

I like the Sezanne Will jacket. Tempted. But I splurged last year on a full length brown leather trench from John Lewis so I’ll probably refrain. Plus I also have a decade old tan leather biker jacket from Mint Velvet (faded badly; wouldn’t buy their leather again). How many brown jackets/coats do I need, really?

Apart from these, I’ve got a dark green suedette trench from Monsoon, a maxi length Rain Sisters waterproof (always gets compliments from strangers) and a Hunter country jacket which was bought on impulse from Brand Alley and initially regretted, as I thought I’d never wear it, but actually I wear it all the time.

Really boring but useful black men's Arket jacket (way too big on me but was going for a "borrowed it off a man" look)
Crap but incredibly lightweight Uniqlo rain jacket (makes you wetter than if you weren't wearing it but looks quite nice and does scrunch up and fit in any bag)
Stutterheim (effective but v sweaty, also gone off the colour)

I wish I had seen this thread before I ordered a new jacket ! I ordered the Hush Laurie zip up utility jacket but am tempted by the M & S tweed one some one linked upthread .
Other jackets I have for Autumn include a zip wool asymmetric style phase 8 one I have had for years . A fat face black utility style Mac that I thought would be waterproof but actuallly isn’t . A moleskin olive whistles peacoat I got from eBay in the spring. I have a beautiful all saints black leather jacket I bought in their sale years ago it’s quite tight fitting and I don’t know why but I don’t feel like the biker style suits me so have only worn it a couple of times but I can’t bear to part with it yet for some reason.
