I'm not a hot weather person at all and I can't bloody wait to get my jumpers and boots out again. Any looks that you think will be particularly prevalent this A/W?

It makes me happy to see so many threads about this. After the pandemic I thought we'd never be able to talk clothes again without someone dropping in to tell us off.

And now that I've jinxed the thread I'll move on quickly. Autumn for me means a tweed jacket. It's quite a small window where it's chilly enough to wear one but not so cold you need a coat, so I like to make the most of it.

I feel the same about my leather jacket. This is my window.

Ha! I never experienced any such misgivings, @Floisme. Getting back to wearing clothes was what kept me going.

In the SE I've enjoyed this warm August hope it last all September, winter is so long not looking forward to it

I'll be very glad when its knit weather again. Something about a cosy jumper or cardie....it just makes me happy (throw in a mug of hot chocolate and Im in heaven!!LOL).

Also really needing it to be tights weather again. I have the worst varicose veins, seriously I have legs like the elephant man! So all summer Im restricted to maxi or midaxi dresses. I find that tights smooth out all the lumps so I can start wearing proper midi's, knee length and even longer mini's.

Going to be a while for though. Im in the SE and Im not a cold person so probably at least another month.😒

I've finally got my wardrobe down to an amount that all fits in my wardrobe and drawers without having to be swapped to make room for the current season. I do open the cupboard that holds all my loving folded knitwear sometimes and just look forward to being able to wear them, same with my boots. The only thing stored is my coats, scarf and gloves, and I love then and can't wait to be back in them!

West Aberdeenshire here and it’s been a lovely summer. Not too hot, plenty of sunshine. Some days of 25c but mostly around 22c. Looks like more warm weather this weekend. Then cools down next week. Can’t wait for autumn clothes! It definitely gets cold enough here to need thermals and thick clothes.
