£30 treat what would you buy?

I know it's not a lot by S&B standards.

But with £30 to spend what would you go for, clothes, makeup, skincare, bag, jewelry? Anything you have had your eye on or bought recently as a treat that you are pleased with.

I am looking for ideas.

Thanks

Definitely some skincare if the money is a treat and spare.
My local beautician offers an half hour facial for £25 with a free product.. so would have one of those.

GettingStuffed · 29/08/2024 11:57

A givenchy lipstick. I'm a sucker for packing

WhenWillWanksWildly · 29/08/2024 12:11

Dior cuticle cream www.dior.com/en_gb/beauty/products/creme-abricot-Y0997124.html?q=Abeicot

MonkeyTennis34 · 29/08/2024 12:29

A MAC lipstick.

Moving into autumn, I recommend Faux or Syrup.

Enjoy!

Squirrelsnut · 29/08/2024 12:30

Dior Lip Glow or a Kerastase product.

Rosemarypots · 29/08/2024 12:46

Exciting! Some ideas...

I might buy two pairs of gold or silver Oliver Bonas earrings - they're about £16 a pair. They have some really lovely ones.

Or an expensive hand wash, which would last me a good couple of months.

Or the Uniqlo soufflé boxy V neck cardi, which comes in bang on £30.

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 29/08/2024 12:53

For £30 I would buy an item of clothing . If I spent £30 on handwash or a lipstick I would be always resenting the £20+ I could have spent elsewhere.

henlake7 · 29/08/2024 13:04

A dress. One I love is currently on sale for £30!😀

OldTinHat · 29/08/2024 13:05

I'd go for Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser or curly hair shampoo.

MotherWol · 29/08/2024 13:15

L’occitane Shea butter hand cream
A nice smelling facial oil
The Uniqlo cardigan mentioned upthread
A 9ct skinny stacking ring from Etsy

AdaColeman · 29/08/2024 13:19

A Monotheme or Fragonard fragrance from Marks and Spencer.

Normallynumb · 29/08/2024 13:26

A lipstick

BusterGonad · 29/08/2024 13:46

A pair of jeans I've got my eye on, they are £36 but I'd sacrifice something to add the extra. In fact I'm buying them tomorrow.

paristotokyo · 29/08/2024 13:50

I'd buy Biossance squalene and hylauronic toning mist. Currently on my wish list! Had a sample of it in a beauty box and loved it. It's £25 so the rest I'd spend on chocolate Grin

Meadowwild · 29/08/2024 13:50

REN Moroccan Rose bath oil if you can find it. It is rare as hen's teeth now.

Or Neom bath oil

Or a bottle of Clarins Eau Ressourcante (blue bottle) body spray

Or cashmere socks

Meadowwild · 29/08/2024 13:53

Or Ginzing Ultra moisturising cream. It's £20 instead of my usual £6.50 Nivea Q10, so I only ever have it in beauty sample boxes from my DSis but I love it so much and people always say I'm looking well when I use it. (I'm one of those people who think being told she looks well is a compliment not a euphemism fpr fatter.)

Fathomless · 29/08/2024 14:02

Liz earle cleanse and polish small tube, £8 in Boots and comes with a cloth. Get into a good evening cleansing routine.

with the rest I'd buy a facial massage oil. Rosehip possibly. Do a bi weekly facial massage using a youtube tutorial.

For me that would be the best way to spend 30 quid.

PumpkinScarf · 29/08/2024 14:07

A pair of pyjamas - got my eye on some from Next at £26 then I’d get a butterball from Lush.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 29/08/2024 14:14

Oooo I want to try WOW serum, so I'd choose that.

paristotokyo · 29/08/2024 14:35

Limth · 29/08/2024 14:12

I'd go for the M&S beauty box - a bit of everything and great value: https://www.marksandspencer.com/the-beauty-discovery-edit/p/hbp60708312

Oh I think this should be the winner Grin

Thistooshallpass24 · 29/08/2024 15:40

Something from gruum, they often have offers where you can get a bundle and just pay postage! Martins money tips did one recently £50 of products for £4 odd postage.

SideEyeSally · 29/08/2024 18:44

A pair of Rubis tweezers, they'll change your life. It's hard to describe how different they are to regular tweezers.

TheOriginalFrench · 29/08/2024 21:47

I was going to say something, or a couple of things, from Tweezerman. I’ve just bought a foot file (£18.50) and a facial razor (£18.00) and they’re both so satisfyingly weighty and well made, as well as indispensable.

LouLou198 · 29/08/2024 21:49

A beauty box from next. They are really good value.
