I know it's not a lot by S&B standards.

But with £30 to spend what would you go for, clothes, makeup, skincare, bag, jewelry? Anything you have had your eye on or bought recently as a treat that you are pleased with.

I am looking for ideas.

Thanks

Clinique black honey Almost Lipstick

I agree re Oliver Bonas earrings

But truthfully if I had £30 just to spend I'd be buying the hibiscus iced tea my local boba place does every day for a week. It's sooooo good ... (tomorrow is Friday I can treat myself I think)

But yes earrings...

I got given this amount recently and have ordered a small leather satchel from eBay.

Leopard print flat Mary Jane ballet shoes in the River Island sale ( I think these are £15) and then some Sanctuary stuff from Boots ( love the smell).

I never thought I would become this person, but Chanel lipsticks are a bit more than £30 but such a treat. I’ve got a couple now and they are a real pleasure to use.

For under £30 I’d get a Uniqlo cord bag with change for something else.

I love Chanel lipsticks, especially the matte ones. I remember buying my first one after my son was born. I felt amazing wearing it.

I recently discovered Tutti & Co jewellery, absolutely beautiful. There freshwater pearl bits are my new faves.

A pair of pyjamas - got my eye on some from Next at £26 then I’d get a butterball from Lush.

Ooh I need some new pjs and could do with some inspiration! Which ones did you go for? 🤗

I too love a Chanel lipstick - usually wait till Boots have 20% off events which brings them down to nearer the £30, the lip pencils with the brush on the end are great too.

I’m now off to Google Rubis tweezers mentioned upthread.

Lots of lovely replies, thanks. A facial (or massage) at the local beautician is a great idea.

Lots of lipsticks, but I don't really wear it except special occasions and am still working my way through an (expensive for me!) bare minerals I bought for a wedding.

Love jewelry so will look in Olivia Bonas

A beauty box is a good idea, as are a decent pair of jeans. But I never find a pair I actually like and flatter. I think at 5ft and round jeans are not my friend.

So many posh lipstick lovers. Its tempting. As is a small leather bag (just for purse, sunglasses, phone and keys.

Also, seeing ballet shoes on the list. I could do with a pair of nice comfy flip flops for next summer.

Humm.

What did you get OP?

unsync · 27/02/2025 23:22

Cashmere bed socks - toasty feet are worth it.
