Casual shoes with jeans

Help! I have been shopping for new shoes just to wear with (nice) jeans and a (stylish) t-shirt, do a lot of walking with pushchair and kids so they need to be comfy...

...SO, are we not allowed to wear socks anymore? They're all so open, I feel that boots won't last me all summer - so what do i do?!

Am I THAT unstylish that I'm more worried about socks? when did this happen?!

Can anyone find me some nice comfy shoes that don't shout "I'm a mother! Comfort first!"

Please help!

My stepsons have Green Flash...

Think Converse better for girly-girls like me and my daughter

getmeouttahere · 15/04/2008 20:28

Countess, I have those same colour Converse with brown flames along the side! And I am the wrong side of 40. Rock 'n' roll!

Seriously, i live in boyfriend jeans and Converse.

I bought a seriously cool pair of pale blue carpenter/boyfriend jeans from Republic today for only a tenner! As long as you don't mind shopping with gangs of 17 yr olds. They are rather low-rise and show the crack of my ass when I bend down but I just wear a long top. I have an addiction to low rise jeans.

I worry that I'm not gonna realise when I'm too old. When IS that?

Tutter · 16/04/2008 08:27

i'm 37 and love my converse

not ken on the boots

prefer low rise

i have the lace-less ones
