40th soon, dh taking me out to a fancy spa hotel and restaurant. Looking for a nice dress which doesn't expose my bingo wings! Nothing tightly fitted either! I'm on a budget so anything £50 and under?!
I live in oversized mum wear of baggy tshirts and chino shorts to need to make an effort! Thanks

Have you looked on the Shein site? Lots in there and very reasonable cost wise. I hope you both have a lovely time xx

I found a lovely dress in that size at Scarlett & Jo. Was about £50 in a sale but there are always loads on Vinted. Their dresses really suit bigger sizes. Floaty sleeves and flattering stretch wrap style. I felt really confident in mine.

Everyone always suggests Scarlett and Jo when somebody is a size 18 upwards.
They don’t do it for me, I find them a bit frumpy.

OP, I am the same size as you and not far off your age. My go to shops for a nice dress are Oliver Bonas (although likely to be out of your budget) River Island and Asos.

Look at Yours. their sizing is quite generous and they will be well within your budget. Also Curvissa and Roman who have a sale.

What's your favourite things about your body? What's your colouring?

I absolutely love this site at the moment. Very affordable and they have a size 18 model & a size 12

Lots of lovely items. Check out the sale too incase there's something on there.

Happy birthday
