Which Trainers are you Loving/Buying?

I wasn’t in the market for a new pair, but I came across a fashion page the other day and saw these in green and pink. It was love-at-first-sight 😍 I ordered them straight away (and I don’t generally buy impulsively). They arrived and I love them. They look beautiful (IMO), are very comfortable and weirdly seem to make my (size 7.5 UK) feet look smaller. I love them so much, I’m tempted to buy them in blue (with a yellow tick) too. I can then where them with most of my outfits 😀

@ilovesushi I’m normally a 7 & that size felt good for me, sometimes I do need a bigger size but then sizing is all over the shop these days, I mean my last Nikes I needed an 8 but the recent Air Max 1 size 7 were great for me, New Balance I take a 7.5 or 8 but then I think it’s always recommended to go at least half size up with them. I’m not sure, I would take a punt but thats me, if they didn’t fit I’d put them on Vinted. Hope this helps 😊

I have just bought some NB but want some Adidas now. Please help me decide between gazelles or campus. I have had gazelle before but not tried on any campus. Anybody who has had both please tell me which you prefer and why!!
I bought some gorgeous Mulberry trainers last year as a treat but am going to sell them after wearing once!! So that’s my excuse to buy more, I just need to make a decision which is difficult because I love trainers!

I bought some purple Puma Palermo's on sale - they are lovely but I found the sizing comes up small so my usual size 6 didn't fit.
Can't order a bigger size as they're now sold out in that colour :(

They are gorgeous OP, I think you should go for the other pair too! I've now bought 4 pairs of Adidas gazelles , they are all bright colours like yours. Couldn't resist them. I plan on keeping two pairs until the first two wear out. I'm insane I know 😅

@Mystro202 Love those pink ones & the green ones 😬 how are the tongues on them, heard others saying they rub top of foot, are they comfy, much support?

Puma sizing is very inconsistent, it’s annoying & puts me off buying from them. I’m generally a 7-7.5 & past purchases in Puma had to get a size 6 & then last pair needed an 8. Those Palermos are very lovely 😍

Yampy, I find the 3 first ones I posted are quite comfy and the sizing is just right. I wear them with trainer Liners and they are fine. But the denim & peachy ones are very short, if ykwim . They don't come up around the ankle bone , I wouldn't say they are as comfy as the others.

I think the plasticky/foamy tongue on my Gazelles will stop me buying any more Adidas. Find the toe box a bit restrictive on me too.

I have these on the way. have some blue/golf Grandslams that I find really comfortable, so hopefully they’ll be good.

I ‘think’ it’s only the Adidas Gazelle indoor ones that have the hard plastic tongue in them. The traditional ones seem to be much better.

@littleteapot86 I know the junior and adult sizes of ASICS are different (junior a little smaller) but not other brands. Sometimes the shape is a little different too,with a wider, rounder front on the juniors.

I've got Adidas and New Balance trainers in junior size and find them true to size.

I ordered the ones in your OP from ASOS. I got three sizes - my usual size (7) and a size up and down. All too small!

I haven't gotten around to ordering the next size up yet. Makes no sense at I wear a 6.5 in Air Force 1s and would need an 8 in these. Bonkers!!

@Mystro202 sorry I just noticed your gazelles say they are indoor trainers? As in, slippers?

@LegalBeagel , the Cortezes run small and narrow. Nikes tend to run small anyway.

I’ve got really into Hoffs. They suit my wide feet and are really comfortable straight out of the box. They can be pricey but I’ve got a couple of pairs cheaper, one from Sole Trader’s online outlet store and another with an online shop’s introductory discount.

Do you mean the Nike Cortez? I’m a 7, ordered a 7.5 to be on the safe side and they’re a perfect fit.

They are intended for indoor court sports, like the others are supposed to be for outdoor sports. They would still get a lot of stick. I imagine they are fine for gentle use (as opposed to long walks) outside.
